Honnestly, nothing.

The « cabins » were made of poor quality material. It wasn’t charming at all. We have slept in other places for that price that were just amazing ! The staff wasn’t friendly, the cabins were smelling terrible (from humidity and bad ventilation). The shower was just a pipe, the water was cut à some point we couldn’t shower properly, the pool was dirty. + The famous « reserve beach » of uvita asked us to pay 6$ each to go on the beach! I hope that other people had a better time than we did there.

There is nice small pool around, you can play chess, you can visit the beach which is gorgeous. There are surfing schools, you can cook at your cabin, there is shared hot shower, and cold shower for private use. Host is really nice and happy to help.

They were cutting trees around our cabin, also there are quite a lot of wild animals, it was quite noisy around during night and day too. Also the bed is really short, so we didn't sleep really well.

- it is a bit far away from shops/ the ‘main’ bit of Uvita (but they do let you use their bikes for free which is really good!) - we stayed 3 nights and we did feel that maybe this place would be better for 1 or 2 nights. after 3 the novelty wears off a bit and the facilities feel more basic - also we found that all of our stuff became very damp in the cabins even on a dry day - would be good if the toilet bins were emptied regularly

Very cute cabins in the middle of nature. Close to the beach and it has a cosy and secluded vibe! It’s a very cool glamping experience. Staff is also very helpful and friendly!

I felt like the 'cabin' that we stayed in had not been cleaned...there was a shelf in the room that I tried to put something on and the shelf cracked...the wood was clearly wet and no longer sturdy.

Location. Kitchen had every thing I needed. Had a hostel vibe.

No hot water. It was raining, and after getting caught in the rain it would have been so nice to have hot water. Also not a lot of light in our bedrooms, just a tiny window and one didn’t open.

Loved the cabina, we had so much space and loved waking up in paradise!! We also loved the outdoor common space and overall great vibes of the property and staff! Would absolutely recommend to a friend and stay in the future!!!

Location near beach and waterfall. The lodge was in the middle of nature, could hear the howler monkeys and there were scarlet macaws in the trees nearby. Small pool was refreshing. Airconditioning in the bedrooms. Close to the town of Uvita, lots of restaurants.

Outdated furniture, lack of maintenance was obvious. Upon arrival we were showed to our room, further than that no explanation was given about anything. For example when the entry gate is closed where to find the key to the gate, or that they even locked the gates. The entry to the beach is no longer free. No windows in the bedrooms.

Beautiful outdoor kitchen. Big seating area and bedroom.

Great property to hangout at; awesome pool, ping pong, chess, hammocks, etc. Wish we stayed longer!

It was very loud at night with animals which made it very difficult to sleep. Also, the staff were kind but sent us in the wrong direction for our bus and we missed it. Might have been the language barrier though.

It was almost perfect. The owners are such lovely people and they are so attentive and helpful. Small details like the shopping bags that you can borrow or the bikes that are free to use were great. The outside showers give the whole place such a cool vibe, the cabins are small but there's everything you'll need. We loved the privacy although the cabins are quite close to each other. Although the rooms are just right in the forest, there weren't too many insects inside the cabin, apart from some roaches, but they'll leave you in peace if you leave them. The kitchen was great, drinkable water at all times, a fridge for food and a cooking stove for easier meals. There's an A/C in the cabin plus a fan if needed, so you won't sweat too much. The beach is just a 5min walk away, supermarkets and the town center are a bit further but it's easily doable by bike. The owners called us a taxi for the day we left, they explained everything so well and they are such lovely people. Maybe you'll even be woken up by monkeys in the morning. We would love to stay there again!

The whole property is absolutely lovely...

We always ate dinner indoors, because otherwise we would have had to fight about it with the racoons... You live very close to nature (which definitely has its Charme... And we enjoyed it for our short stay), but expect to meet lots of animals around, including mice and cockroaches...
