Nice location, a short walk to the National park and lots of restaurants nearby, as well as 2 corner shops. The kitchen is a decent size so you’re not prepping or cooking on top of each other. The pool and other communal areas are also good for relaxing in and meeting other people. The staff were very helpful with organising me a taxi as well as the laundry service.

A very minor thing is that the reception does not open until 12pm. This wasn’t an issue for me, but some people trying to checkout early in the morning weren’t sure what to do with their luggage.

Auberge très bien située, proche de Marino balena, vous pouvez y aller à pied et ne pas payer le parking. L’équipe est très sympathique et la piscine agréable avec ces fortes chaleurs! Cuisine commune correcte . Vite sève accès à pièce aux sodas et supermarchés.

Everything was great, good kitchen space, comfortable bed, aircon, staff were friendly, pool was lovely!

The people we shared the bathroom with made it very dirty in one day, the staff quickly cleaned it the next morning. Also we arranged a taxi but there was some miscommunication about it and nobody was at the desk in the morning.

Le zone comuni sono colorate, accoglienti e piene di amore. i bagni comuni sono molti e non si aspetta mai per fare una doccia o andare in bagno. qualità-prezzo decisamente buoni, macchine parchegiate all'interno in sicurezza.

Muy cerca de la entrada al parque nacional marino ballena. Tiene parking privado. Y la piscina esta muy bien. La habitación bastante pequeña pero suficiente

No hay opciones de baño privado. El baño es compartido aun asi hay 3 baños y ademas bastante limpios

The beds and towels were clean.

The WiFi signal was not that strong. Also: no warm water in the shower. For these 2 reasons I changed hostel.

Kitchen was very clean and well stocked. Outdoor pool. Clothes line for drying clothes. There is a gate to push open upon entering and/or parking which felt secure. Close to national park. Laundry facilities for price onsite. Lockers in dorm for smaller backpack and personal items - bring your own lock. Beautiful area! Wonderful local restaurants nearby. Staff was very responsive and nice. I went for a run (solo female) in the morning and felt safe. Bed was comfortable and clean.

I stayed in a dorm. Pains broken from windows, but air conditioning still cooled well!

It’s located in a nice area and close to the beach and a supermarket. There are 3 well equipped kitchens!

I would’ve liked more places to hang out in the garden as well as somewhere to put/hang clothes in the room.

Clean, enough bathrooms, working AC in the dorm, great outdoor area including Pool, nice and helpful staff, lockers inside the dorm. Price for value is great for the area.

The doorm is quite small, there is not much space for the luggage with 6 people inside.

Nice and chilled, good pool and Sun loungers. Nice staff who were helpful in organising trips etc. Decent free parking. Good a/c.

The private rooms do need updating. A lick of paint would help and fixing simple things like the plug socket hanging off the wall.

The Chilean girl working at the reception is SUUUUUUPER nice. She's always got a smile on her face and she's always in a good mood! There's a swimming pool and ample parking space. The kitchen also has a lot of utensils and two fridges. Even though there are only shared bathrooms, I never had to wait in line. The road leading up to the lodge might seem a little sketchy and dark at night but I walked on my own and it was absolutely fine. There are also two mini markets nearby and it's not too far from the beach.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the temperature of the room. Even with the fan on, it was incredibly hot and very difficult to fall asleep. I think they should definitely consider upgrading the rooms and charging a little more for AC because it would be so much more convenient and pleasant for guests.

We love this place! Even booked more nights to stay at this peacefull lodge. Good location nearby National park, beach, restaurants and a supermarket. Very kind staff, and also the tour operators recommented by Yubarta Lodge: Adventures Una, were amazing.

Everything was always super clean, especially the communal bathrooms and showers (one also has hot water!). The pool is amazing, so relaxing for reading and resting in the shade! The staff is awesome.

The room was a bit claustrophobic. First place in one month in Costa Rica that did not offer free coffee for guests or the basics for cooking (salt, oil). Would make a huge difference!

Room on smaller side, but okay. (This was.one of 3 brdrooms in a house, so shared kitchen and living room provided extra space.)

The location was great together with the facilities and open spaces. Comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms, two kitchens with good atmosphere, great pool and lounge area. Probably the best hostels overall that I’ve stayed at.

The wifi was pretty bad, partly because the electricity went out and part because of the wifi itself. Not so reliable for important things. If it worked I would have given a 10 :)
