The room was clean and equipped with everyting. you need . we slept very well in the comfortable bed. shen is great man. he organize our toure plan and everything . breakfast and dinner so delicious . we are reccomend to this place .

Great hospitality. Great location. Very clean room and bathroom. I was even given a bigger room than my reservation. Breakfast was lovely. I woke up with the sound of birds which was the best way to start the day. My car's tyre was flat and Shen helped me fix it immediately. One of my best hotel experiences. Thank you so very much! I will come back. 🙂

Great Stay In Sigiriya

we liked everything :) our room was big and very clean, the breakfast was very good, especially the coconut pancakes 😋 close to some very good restaurants, and we didn't get the chance to try Shen's food for diner, but it looked delicious! Shen was very nice, and even went to find us after we left to delivery our son's shoes we had forgotten in the room.

Very nice place to spend a few days in Sirigiya. Walking distances to the center/restaurants and to the Lion rock. Breakfast was also very tasty! They organised our pick up at the Colombo airport with a fully recommended driver, Wasantha! And also our drive to Kandy to catch the train in the morning.

This place allows you to experience the village life of the island. It has a very tidy room and garden with lots of fruit trees. Shen was ultimately hostile and friendly, he gives us many advises about local sightings and places. Breakfasts and dinners were also amazing.

Excellent location

Lovely place to stay in Sigiriya! About an hour to Polonnurawa and very close by car to Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock. Very peaceful and quiet, lovely to wake up to birds etc. Shen was very attentive and flexible including a late check out and packing us an early breakfast when we went for a sunrise hike.

Restaurants are a few minutes walk away - we had dinner at the guesthouse (some delicious chicken kottu) for $5 usd which was absolutely delicious and a very generous serving

the room was big, comfortable, clean with nice garden outside, we had home made delicious breakfast and some fresh fruits, by 15 min walk you will see good restaurants. Shen helped a lot and gave tips where to go, he arranged pick up from the airport and very affordable tuk-tuk that stayed with us almost the whole day.

Good quality and good service at a fair price. Shen is very communicative, helpfull and professional. Natural environment, clean and tidy, good breakfest. Definetly recommend.

Shen is an incredibly kind and helpful host, who welcomed us in his house in Sigiriya and gave us a lot of insights into his life and his community. Our room was big and comfortable and the whole stay was very relaxing, surrounded by nature and lush green!

Shen is a nice and kind host. We stayed there for 3 nights. Breakfast was good. We wished for an omlett and king coconout and Shen fullfilled our wishes. He also organized a tour to Polonnaruwa and a taxi to Kalpitiya for us. We can definetly recommend to stay there. Restaurants are also really close by. The garden is very nice and you can sit on the terrasse.

An electric water cooker in the room would have been nice.

We really enjoyed our stay and Shen, the Host, is a really nice guy. He supported us to find a driver and had good recommendations for the hikes! Breakfast was really good as well.

We stayed 2 days at Shen Residence. The room was spacious, very clean and all the equipments needed. Shen is very friendly, caring and helpful for the activities in the area. Also the breakfast was delicious and tasty.

Shen was great and very caring. He did everything so we could have a wonderful stay. He even came to look for us walking back to the guesthouse after a early morning hike to the Sigiriya mountain ruins (the exit is about 15 minutes walking). Clean, good breakfast and nice room.

Shens residence was the perfect retreat to stay in Sigiriya!! Shen and his family were so welcoming and friendly. We had delicious breakfast every morning on the patio of fresh fruit and delicious coconut pancakes and rotis. A few evenings Shens mother also cooked us exquisite Sri lankan curry! The best Sri lankan food we've eaten. Shen could not be more Accomdating bringing us tea and water, chatting to us and giving us advice for the best places in Sigirya. One morning he took us to his families beautiful vegetable garden down the road. We really felt like we were part of the family and can't thank them enough for their kindness. The room was beautifully clean with excellent facilities. The bed comfortable and cosy. Bathroom large and clean. Mostiquo nets and A/C. The room had a beautiful patio that looked onto the garden, so peaceful. The price was amazing value for the quality of the stay. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet, a few minutes walk into the center. A bike shop opposite to hire bikes. We really cannot recommend this place enough, come and stay here!
