Location could not have been better. Facilities were good.

It’s a small issue really, I was given the an incorrect code to enter the property. A resident was kind enough to give me the correct number. If we had arrived a bit later, when people’s comings and goings were a bit less frequent, things could have been tricky…… We also had to buy bleach, the bathrooms were not clean!

Lovely apartment. Only a 15 min walk to the centre, plenty of room in the apartment for a family. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Only enough hot water for about 2 showers in the morning. So if you have teenage daughters, get them to shower at night!

all the stairs we had to climb which were difficult for my husband the cooker was difficult to operate there were a lot of access codes to remember the beams in the bedrooms made the rooms feel cramped

It’s location is great, and is kept clean, with a good selection of items in the kitchen (fantastic to have salt, pepper, oil, washing up liquid,hand soap etc all included)

We arrived after the managing agents office had closed (which we had informed the would be the case). The instructions told us that we must park only in the space allocated for the apartment. On arrival another car was parked there and we were concerned we could receive a parking fine from the company that ran the car park for parking in another space. The out of hours emergency telephone number went to another company who said that they wouldn’t be able to help as without knowing whose car it was they couldn’t get it moved- so we parked elsewhere offsite (not ideal). we did get a response the next morning from Your Guest to say as long as permit was on display we could park in any of the space. this put a slight dampener on the experience. Clearer instruction explaining this would have averted the angst caused.

The beams in the bedrooms were a bit tricky to navigate around, especially in the dark! The gate code, door code and key safe was a bit of a challenge on arrival but we got used to it.

Nothing that the hosts could do anything about, it was hot in the apartment even without the heating on. Main bedroom, bed was pinned against the wall, so access in an out not great, so we gave up that room To our daughter, we as parents had the single beds.

We didn't have any hot water on the second day & were left to try and figure it out ourselves. Unfortunately we couldn't get the hot water back on & when we rang the owner were told, 'well its never happened before'. A little disappointing when I was there with my 70 year old mother celebrating her birthday and none of us could shower before we went out.

It was clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet yet conveniently situated.

Getting into the flat was tricky. There were 3 separate security key pads to operate, and we had problems with all of them. We had to ring the helpline. The operator was sympathetic but could not explain the knack. Someone had parked in our space. The corridors were poorly lit / lights not working. All in all, the check-in experience was very poor. The bedrooms had poor sound insulation and the floors were creaky. The heaters had baffling controls and no instructions were provided, other than to say use the hand held controls. But there weren’t any hand held controls

That you have to take bedding off the bed, take the bins out, do all the dishes etc or be charged cleaning fees. This isn’t Airbnb. I booked through this platform not to have to deal with this nonsense. It’s your responsibility to clean a room after the guest has left, not the guest.

Amazing location, just a 20 minute walk into the main parts of town. Comfortable setting for up to 4 guests with a spacious living area

The staff were not very hospitable. They gave us the wrong check in instructions and it was very cold to be fiddling with it outside. We had a flat tyre and the garage could only see us at 11 but they were not helpful with a slightly later check out to accommodate. Theres a hefty 250 deposit required for this place and they accused us of taking a single duvet so that was quite a worry when they're holding so much of my money. They didn't rectify the issue once they found it, just brushed it under the carpet and said my deposit was being released.

It was in a great location, clean and beautifully furnished. it was also lovely and warm during the crazy Arctic blast weather! The skylights were wonderful as we could see the night sky and it felt like camping even as the temperatures outside were sub-zero! I thought providing us with cleaning kits etc was very considerate.

nothing that was the fault of the property. someone was parking in our bay but that’s not the property’s fault and the staff got back to us very quickly about what we should do. the bedroom was a bit cold at first but warmed up after a while. (temperatures outside were in the -4 to -6 range though so not really the fault of the property) it would be nice to offer a paid late checkout option if possible.

perfect location for our visit, with an easy walk into York and it’s attractions. Bedrooms we’re comfortable with everything we needed provided.

The location was ideal for seeing York, close to the city centre, so once there we had no need to use the car. The apartment was modern and clean.

Floorboards were unbelievably noisy. Doors banged shut. Spotlight hanging down in the bathroom and blind cords are not secured (legal requirement).
