La posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda, vicino alla metro Serdika e all' inizio di Vitosha Boulevard. L' hotel è moderno e i letti sono molto grandi e comodi. Ottima la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza senza limiti di orario.
L'aria condizionata non raffredda e fa un rumore che rende difficile addormentarsi. Il mini frigo della camera non funzionava e mancava il sapone per le mani nel bagno. La moquette sul pavimento non è mai una buona idea, resta sporca e le macchie non danno senso di pulizia. Nella stanza non ci sono posti dove appoggiare le valigie e le cose personali: abbiamo dovuto lasciare le borse sul pavimento. Per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo di più.

Nice large room. Comfy large bed. Mostly very clean except some cobwebs above the shower. Location very convenient for exploring Sofia. Friendly welcome.
A decent breakfast option would be ideal. The offering looked fairly unexciting, but fortunately there are many cafes etc that are not far away where you can get a good breakfast.
Not all lights appeared to work, or at least some switches did nothing.

The room at Design Hotel 36 was exactly as described! Simple but furnished with everything you need and in a perfect position in the center of Sofia. Even if not always present in person the staff was always available via booking, they prepared me an invoice for my stay and booked a taxi to reach the airport.
Even if I like the concept behind a small breakfast to not waste food, I would revise the breakfast offer and quality as I found it not worth it for the price paid.

Clean room. Happy and creative design both in the room and in the public areas (lobby, restaurant, stairs, coridors) Kind and helpful staff.
Extra quick check-in procedure (welcome-envelop addressed on my name with precoded keycard inside) was waiting for me before arriving and checking in.

Great location close to the city centre, many cafes and shops. We had a smooth check-in experience even late at night. The interior is stylish, our room was clean, warm and well-equipped. Staff was also very helpful, overall really pleasant stay.
Just one minor thing, the bathroom could use a few more hooks for towels.

It was a lovely hotel - cozy atmosphere, lovely design, comfortable rooms. Also it is very good location - close to the city center and main metro station.
Please note, that breakfast is not a buffet, so you need to inform the hotel in advance about your dietary needs. Also reception is not there 24/7, so you need to communicate in advance about your arrival times.

Quick and effective remote telephone assitance during the late arrival self-check-in.
Noisy parties at night in the neighbourhood (or party noise coming from the cellar of the hotel...??).
No shelves or wardobe in my room. As I found out at the reception other room have wardrobe just my one's design didn't allowed such feature.
