The location in the countryside is lovely , very quiet. House delightful,

The gate looked as though it hadn’t been open for a long time and hence the hesitation to enter. The sign on first gate is so faded we had difficulty in realising it was where we had to go through.

The space, layout, downstairs amenities for accessibility with older members, decor, well equipped, warm. Amazing views and walks from the doorstep.

Was all lovely.

The Barn was in a picturesque setting, excellent for walkers. It is decorated very tastefully both inside and out. The welcoming touches were lovely, fresh eggs, milk, biscuits, sweets with fresh flowers. The underfloor heating was excellent and easy to manage.

Although we were informed the approach road was a track through two gates, it was much worse than we expected. The potholes were frequent and once it had rained, it was difficult to tell how deep they were. Two of our cars were 4x4 fortunately otherwise we would have been very concerned every time we went out.

Amazing property, we were amazed when we arrived and had an enjoyable week staying here. Owners lovely and very welcoming. Beautiful location! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location and beautiful views. Lovely space indoors and out for socialising and the kids to play.

Maybe needed more empty cupboard space to store food. Another shower would be helpful.

We liked the living space; the tall ceilings made the space feel larger than it was and it was very homely and cosy with seats for everyone. We all thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. There was ample space and a large garden for us to play badminton and a great patio area where we could relax and cook a BBQ. The views were stunning and it was lovely to see the cows and chickens etc

The track leading up to the house was fine for us but some people might have been put off driving on the rough terrain in a smaller car that was perhaps closer to the ground. The one thing that we found slightly off putting, was the security camera on the patio area which made us feel like we were being watched and made our stay feel less private. On the whole though, we had a very enjoyable holiday.
