You can see lots of mold in the bathroom. Also, door lock is very old and rusted.

My room had a comfortable bed and the location was very convenient.

I had to request a room change because of the strong smell of cigarette smoke. The problem was better but not perfect in my new room.

Staff was incredibly helpful. Room was clean, and large than expected. Great view and great value. The housekeeper always kept the sheets clean and there was always bottled water in the room which is nice in hot summer Shanghai. All of the front desk staff speak enough english to with any problem you could have, and a few are extremely proficient.

Their washing machines were a bit dirty. I think they use a different, cleaner one for the sheets so those always came very clean but the ones for guests need a cleaning.

Located in good place, but the prices is not include taxs and fees. Just notice about that when you decide to book. I didn't do that so it's ok. The staff very helpful 😃 Btw the internet connection is not good at all

Very good to stay

Location is great, there is area of bars and restaurants nerby, where you can meet many foreign people. Room was small but with everything I needed. Housekeeping every day was trying to keep the room clean. Stuff at reception was nice and speak english. The advantage is that you can store your luggage at the reception after check-out.

The common area around reception was in reconstruction. There was terrible smell in my room. It went away after few days with constantly opened window.

Rooms were neat and clean. Every kind of facility was there like hair dryer.

No soap was provided for washing hands

Staff were good. Hotel was clean. Not difficult to check in (sometimes hotels have trouble with foreigners, but this hotel was great)

A bit loud. Could often hear other guests shouting in the hallway. Cold floors. Bed was a bit small and so was the room. But it was advertised accordingly.

Good location with many bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Great for a night or two. Potential to meet new people either in the hotel or while travelling around.

Quite far from subway stops but still within walking/cycling distance. Thin walls and voices can be heard at various points of the day.

Great , at the reception there is who speaks in English and that was a miracle, so nice they help get to any place I wanted to visit. Thanks for them. They were remarkable.

Short beds

I booked a dorm room but I got an upgrade and they gave me a private room. Very nice service.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the room and the service so I decided to stay couple of days longer.

Very well located for visiting, near the 2 temples, the Natural History Museum ... insulated bunk beds with curtains, lamp, and very practical safe. The children liked it very much :)

Good location, good value for money

I can hear all the neighbors, TVs, people walking around the place. Not quiet at all

Good location, in downtown Shanghai.

The elevator did not work in the evening, had to carry kids stroller all the way to the 4 th floor by walking a very dirty staircase!!! At night someone knocked on the door looking for somebody:(((

Budget option I found at the last minute with a comfortable bed and good shower, though it sprays all over the bathroom floor. WiFi is consistent and signal was good. Amazing location with lots of great bars and places to eat a short walk away. Price was great and value exceeded the price.

Was a bit noisy. Also, the room I had had a frosted window facing a lit hallway that meant my room wouldn’t get dark.
