Everything was nice.The view was amazing. Appartment was very clean, modern and comfortable. Private Parking few minutes walk through the city. Owners very kind and quickly reply to any question. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful with that distinctive curved stone roof and exceeded our expectations because the view from it overlooking the stunning Sasso Barisano, was everything we could have hoped for. Its location was a few yards from the Duomo and perfect for sightseeing. Angela was a wonderful host. She advised us on how to get to the secure private parking garage and crucially met us there. We felt reassured by it security and she was relaxed, friendly and super helpful from the very beginning. We walked from there with our bags to the property (about 5-10 minutes) and once there she spent as much time as we needed showing us around the house, all the appliances, the system for putting bins out etc. She was very helpful. She provided maps of Matera and marked out worthy places to visit and we are so glad she did. You need several days at the very least to fully take in these sites and especially the atmosphere of this fascinating city. Angela is on hand when you need her via WhatsApp which is very much appreciated. The location of the property, its beauty and her kindness and generosity set her and her property apart from the vast majority of others. We only stayed there a week and already looking forward to returning to Matera in the future. Having travelled to many parts of Italy it is at the top of our list.

Angela was very attentive to our needs. It was raining and she brought us to the property in her car with our luggage and toddler. It was very well appreciated and you immediately feel so welcomed at her accommodation. The flat itself is so central situated right in between the two sassi's and the view is absolutely gorgeous from the windows. Especially as the sun sets and the sassi starts lighting up. It was a highlight of our Italian trip. We will definitely come back to Matera and stay here again.

Marvelous view, very cozy stay, we loved our stay!

It’s in a very central location . It has all the things you need and is very homely . No expense is spared as it is done really nice, apart from enjoying the beautiful view of the sassi

The hosts attended me ad hoc at the time I was ready to. They prepared everything with the best attention and much more than I expected. The location is strategic for visiting the Sassi di Matera because it is in Matera Piano, just above Sasso Barisano and close to Sasso Caveoso. A little walk and you can rwach any part of Matera. From the windows of the house you'll have a wide and fantastic view of Sasso Barisano. If you want to cook everything is ready in the house. If you do not want to cook instead, restaurants are close to the house or a supermarket with already prepared food (pasta, meat, vegetables) and you can bring hot at the house to eat them in a relaxed way.. Before traviling there as well the host replied to any of my requests to help me planning my trip as best as possible. As it was a sunny period air conditioning was very usefull.
