this is a true luxury hotel with fantastic facilities, the overall environment is unbeatable

the room carpet has some water stains, and the Nespresso coffee in the lobby was not the best

Maybe it's a crazy thing to comment on, but this room had the most fabulous toilet I've ever seen! Additionally, the maid service folded the clothes I left lying around and left me a personal note.

Nothing. Everything was great. I can't imagine what could have been done better. Worth every penny.

C´est une blague! Un hôtel qui ne mérite pas de 5 étoiles! J´ai réservé une nuitée dans cet hôtel comme cadeau pour mes parents. Le jour d´arrivée, on leur a dit que la carte bancaire pour la réservation ne peut pas payer car elle n´est pas une carte chinoise. Du coup, mes parents l´ont payé sur place. Est-ce que vous avez des personnelles pour le service de la réservation? Ils ne savent pas vérifier le paiement est effectué ou pas ? Et informer la personne qui a fait la réservation? Pendant la réservation, j´ai demandé de mettre une carte dans la chambre pour l´anniversaire de ma mère avec les mots à écrire sur la carte. On m´a répondu qu´ils vont offrir un gâteau en plusi. Bien. En réalité, il y avait juste un gâteau miniature avec une carte, sur laquelle pas du tout de mots que j´ai laissés! Ce qui est beau aussi, pas de welcome fruits non plus. Je suppose qu´ils sont remplacés par le gâteau miniature? !

The food was great in the lobby. The hotel was clean and rooms were a nice size and layout. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

The WIFI was a disaster. It is so slow, it was impossible to use and restricted access to international tools like Google. Our company runs on google servers and we couldn't access any emails or files. The VPN's wouldnt work and this really ruined my experience of China as I was so busy for 3 days trying to stay abreast of business that the I failed to enjoy the WEF which I was there for. The room service food also came cold.

Unfriendlinesses of the spa hostess. She seems to be more concerned with her mobile phone than giving us the needed information. Rooms were not 100% clean. Corners weren’t vacuumed for ages and general maintenance needs to be done. At first glance all looks clean and perfect but when taking a closer look you see the defects and lack of cleanliness.

Great comfortable beds and room. Lovely decor and setting. Very convenient location to Tianta. A good quality place to stay near to the centre of Tianjin.

Most services in the hotel were quite costly as you'd expect for a 5 star like this. Hotel gym ok. Swimming lessons with children going on in the pool until quite late in the evening.

It is hard not to love the rooms. Soft tones with a lot of variations of white greet the eye with generously sized windows allowing a lot of natural light. The seating area makes it possible for a couple of people to enjoy a drink together - a nice touch owing to its spaciousness. However, the best part for me is the bathroom with its super smart design. Sliding doors allow privacy but if you don't need it, you have a real open feel and the room feels larger than its 45SQM. Throughout my stay, the bathroom was open, making a huge spatial difference to my room. There are also smaller but wonderful points worth mentioning. Firstly, the welcome amenity really said, "Welcome!" Secondly, the Japanese smart toilet takes smart to another level as far as hotel toilets are concerned and Shanghai Tang toiletries left me wanting to take a few baths. Finally, the mini bar is really well stocked, with proper sized glassware!

A couple issues which I already raised with management.
