The shining star at Rus Mar was Ahmed. He was always at the front desk and was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 204 which had 2 small windows up high, too high to see out of but they cranked open for a nice breeze.  The linens and towels were very clean and fresh and the toiletries were good.

The bed sagged in the middle which for one person would not be so bad, but there were two of us.  The bed was pushed up against one wall so one of us would have had to climb all the way out so we managed to pull the bed away from the wall enough to squeeze by.  The full length mirror in the bathroom was missing a large portion and the toilet paper holder was missing a part so you had to reach behind on top of the tank. There is a crank out window in the bathroom but the crank was broken. The sink was much lower than usual, even for me and I am only 5ft tall. Overall the room was clean but there was a stickiness to the top of the eating table and dresser.

The location was nice and the staff was great and reliable; the only thing I was unsatisfied with was the lack of a pool. Otherwise the stay was excellent.

Everything was perfect,, but it would be nice to have access to a pool. I do understand the property is not set up for a pool but what about use of the pool across the way or on another property managed by these owners. (Just an option, I realize there may be liability issues involved)

Tub surface very slippery, The corner room they gave us had no window to the outside, but small basement type windows over the beds with see through curtains especially after dark when you have the lights on, nice full size bed that sinks in like Indiana Jones and the temple of doom, not to mention Roos are double occupancy and to accompany the double size bed let’s fill any extra space with a single bed and yes there is more but let’s start with that. No ice, slippery tile floors painted dining table your hot paper containers stick to , built up grease around stove top, freezer that needs defrosting, key that gets stuck in the door, and somehow I believe we got the only room in the place like that because we were black

I liked that the boardwalk was across the street, you can rent a bike there as well. Also that it was pet friendly

This was not what we expected. Being how this was the only pet friendly hotel open in April, we really had no other option. This hotel is great for families in the summer when you only need a place to sleep at nite, and you spend the rest of your time at the beach and boardwalk. Everything was clean, but look at details that could be upgraded, like fixing dresser drawers and adding a rug or two to the room

Nothing at all

The room was absolutely disgusting. First another person staying there yelled at my wife for nothing at all. Then there were no blankets in the room. But the worst was the bed. It had fleas jumping all over it. We left an hour after we got there. We are almost positive there were probably bed bugs too!! The owners said they would return our money but lied after booking.com reached out twice. they never refunded our money.

broken drawer on the dresser made it unusable. shower had very limited water pressure and more than half of the shower head water holes did not function. kitchenette with no pots or pans. No sponge or dish soap to wash any dishes. tiny refrigerator. tv mounted on the wall with the cable box just hanging by its cord from the tv and all kinds of wires dangling from it. the best part was a very pleasant staff worker who checked us in, she was very nice. would not stay there again. neighboring tenants had some of the same issues.

The rooms are small and there was not an extra blanket available.
