The room did not resemble the pictures on booking.com, It was hot, no ventilation unless you opened the window and the door. The room faced the main busy road, even though we requested a quiet room at time of booking. So hard to sleep at night with party noises, trams and traffic going on all night. Not even a glass supplied to drink water, floor was dirty, tv did not work unless you unplugged the fridge, no other power point in the room and the linen was old and felt unclean, the duvet was stained. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Horrible Stay at Swiss Star Marc Aurel with Unwanted Intruder Our experience at Swiss Star Marc Aurel was alarmingly distressing. We were greeted by a room that looked like a post-apocalyptic scene - broken lamp, dirty dishes, discarded clothes and sheets, a disturbing stained note, and shockingly, apparent bondage ropes. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. After alerting customer support, we were relocated to another room. Though they were courteous, the new room was only marginally better, with a persistent unpleasant smell and a dysfunctional shower door. Adding to our unease, someone had accessed our original room and disturbed the belongings, evident from the property management's photographs, pointing to dubious security. With bed bugs to top it off, our stay at Swiss Star Marc Aurel was extremely disappointing. I advise others to avoid this property until substantial improvements occur.

The location was good, 12 mins ride from the main train station (Hauptbanhof). There are restaurants across the street.

Poor facilities. There wasn’t even glasses available for drinking water. Too expensive for the service provided.

Once i checked in i notice incredible smoking smell. My girlfriend is asthmatic what make our night a nightmare! The only reson we stayed was the fact that it was late and everything else was very expensive! I call them right after and they said that they are fully booked and that they have no other option than maybe refund us! I sent them an email but no one responded! Horrible experience, waiting fowrad for you respond! Thanks.

The sliding doors in the shower aren’t secure. Could easily fall off & hurt someone. Pale yellow bed & sofa that are stained cos I guess fairly old. Hallway smelled bad & also stained carpet on places. It’s nice that they allow animals but I think when I was barefoot, an animal’s hair lodged itself into my foot (under the skin). Everything was a bit run down. chipped golden mirror that had white instead of gold on it.

The shutter doesn't work, it stays down. Room 43. There has been a problem with the key box. Nonetheless the assistance came quickly to help. Hopefully it was 17:00. Also a bit cold in the bedroom. No manual regulation of the heating system. It was a snowy day.

It was convenient to use public transportation.

There was no staff to help. There was no wifi information, we had to call again and again. The heater was auto, there was no option to adjust, and it was cold.

I was robbed inside the apartment at number 05 I called the police and they asked me to contact the administration I call they don't answer me I called once they answered me and asked me to call the police. and they didn't solve anything, they didn't give me any assistance. I couldn't sleep in the apartment for fear that someone would enter, I saw the man in the hallway with the LV brand bag but I didn't think it would be the bag, someone came in and stole someone who would have the key copy.

my room was filthy, the beddings was terrible and the bed soft and lumpy. on check the person on the telephone was disinterested and rude.

The check in was easy. The tram is very close.

The bed was awful, lumpy, and if you turn over, you fall into a gap in the center of the bed. Since we really just needed a place to sleep, this hotel was not good.

The room was not clean- the sheets were dirty, and had brown spots & hair on them. The room had a very strange smell. Since it was on the ground floor, facing the main road and the tramline, opening the window was not an option. To top it all off, there was nobody to call or ask for a change of sheets. Would definitely not stay here again.
