We loved everything about the Hotel Belvedere and Wengen. The family room was large and had an amazing view, breakfast had a good variety for a hotel breakfast, the hotel was clean, staff members were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. We stayed for five nights and explored the area from Wengen. It was the perfect spot to stay - quiet, incredibly beautiful, and very easy to reach other areas via train. We hope to return!

If does not have transport from tarin to the hotel is need more effort. Please be sure to inform the hotel to pick up in train station.

It was easy to give this grand hotel a 10 rating! I stayed here 14 years ago. Unlike some old European hotels this one seems in better condition than before. It is well maintained, clean, and beautiful. It is still staffed with kind, efficient, dignified employees. The lobby's solid wood paneling and carved and painted accents show classic workmanship. It is well furnished. The several open, airy public rooms (library, bar, lobby) give a rare, classic charm for reading, visiting, or just looking at the stunning scenery. The breakfast was as good as I remembered and includes a buffet with a variety of hot and cold items. It is served in a large, high-ceilinged, bright room and the staff are quick and helpful with custom coffee and tea service. The hotel is located higher in Wengen than some hotels which gives it a better view of the mountains and the valley. The views from my room and balcony were spectacular. Wengen and the mountains are world class and so is this hotel. It will create a pleasant lifelong memory of old world quality and service.

The breakfast was amazing and the view from the room was stunning! We would wake up with the Alps on our windows. Also, the chefs and all kitchen staff were very kind and helpful at all times. The journey to get to the hotel was another great experience as you would have to walk through the beautiful city of Wengen (unless you want them to pick you up at the train station which is also possible) and then reach the hotel which is located in a quiet yet close to the centre area.
Maybe the rooms could be better organised to make the most of the space.

It is important to note that on arrival in Wengen, I was generously offered an upgrade, which I accepted, to a sister hotel, The Hotel Silberhorn. All the comments relate to Hotel Silberhorn, rather than the Hotel Belvedere. The room was exceptional - spacious with everything you could wish for. The meals were top class. The service from staff excellent.

Absolutely beautiful views from the balcony
Expected Half-board and exchanged emails beforehand about special requirements . But arrived and were then told that they do not have the dining room open except for breakfast !

Hotel Belvédère is located in a very quiet and convenient area in Wengen, with a great viewpoint on the mountains.
The palace is very charming and dates back to the 1910s. There is a gorgeous fireplace in the main hall and we enjoyed having a drink in front of the fire in the evening very much.
The staff is very kind, supportive and professional. Most speak a flawless Italian, that helped us feel at home.
Our room was spacious, warm and comfortable, with a clean alpine style and a cute wooden balcony on the main facade.
The breakfast is served in a big and beautiful room, with windows on the park all around. You can have dinner in the same room, which we found very convenient. Both are served as a buffet, with a good variety of choices, the proper safety measures and a flawless service for the drinks (including an impressive selection of wines) and all your needs.
Our stay was unfortunately short, but we really wish to come back again soon!
