The breakfast was amazing and the room was nice.

The closeness to weatherspoons which meant the noise after throwing out time.

Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, polite staff.

Location. The room was a good size and well equipped.

The car park was 150m away and it was pouring with rain. Breakfast started 10m late and I was in a hurry. I couldn't close the window and road noise was a bit of an issue.

It was clean and comfortable.

Needs updating and would certainly benefit from double glazing as it was nosey and drafty at night. Invoices need updating it staff to communicate with guests on arrival, as we missed breakfast because invoice said we only had room, not breakfast. Booking.com was bed and breakfast so we paid £95 and had no breakfast or refund cos we weren't told.

Excellent full English. Not greasy at all. Kept me going on all day hike.

Slightly dated. Noisy late night revellers from nearby pubs.

Very friendly staff and exception parking offered for our 2 motorcycles!

A bit of street noise which I appreciate unavoidable as town centre situation

Clean, good value for money, nice staff.

The hotel is in the city centre and during the weekend is very busy and loud.We stayed Saturday night here on the 11th of September and couldn't sleep at all because of the noise outside.We had a very busy day and wanted to be able to have a good night sleep but this is not a good hotel for sleeping as it is right in the city centre (maybe during the weekdays it is different) and I could hear my neighbour as well when he woke up, showered etc.

Room was a gtreat size and clean, but very dated and old fashioned, no air con, so room was vwry uncomfortable, was the middle of a heatwave, also front door was locked at 11pm so we couldn't get in, had ro wait 10 mins on someone letting us in .
