The ambience and warm hospitality was excellent! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Thanks so much to Sarah & all the staff for an amazing experience - we will be back!!!

If I really had to pick something, it’s the stairs but hey, that’s what you get in a glorious heritage building!

Convenient location, friendly staff and pleasant environment.

Originally taken to the wrong room, but rectified quickly. No milk in the room with hot drinks. Not a problem for me, and would probably have been supplied quickly if requested.

only complaint was that we didn’t sleep well due to the heat on the top level. Maybe an idea to stick some fans up there?

Finding parking

The bar was nice and cosy.

Was too warm with the window closed and too loud when open. The stairs are very steep to the top floor. Hard to find. The information about breakfast was non existent after asking we were told that with booking. com there is no breakfast included…..

Friendly staff and a convenient location

I had a Windowless room and they have now stopped serving evening meals, which they did the last time I stayed there

The staff were fantastic, I visit numerous hotels and often find the staff go through the motions and working away from home frequently can often be difficult but its made easier when you have staff whom are willing to share the history of the hotel, the services provided and genuinely engage in conversation. The lady in working in the hotel at the time whom I believe was called Izzy was extremely professional and an absolute credit to the establishment and will be sure to return when next in town.
