Staff were lovely. Room’s decor was really nice. The children loved the bunk bed! Dinner was nice. Grounds were beautiful. Pool was great.
Bed was very small in room.
Breakfast was mediocre.

We were really delighted with our spur of the moment stay in Mullingar. We chose The Bloomfield Hotel online for value, and we were surprised with the beautiful location, the excellent facilities, the friendly professional staff and found the whole stay very pleasant, thank you all!
The only drawback for our unexpected stay was that we hadn’t packed swimming togs and there were none to buy on site! However, we’d good weather so we enjoyed a lovely stroll out to Lough Ennell and listened to a range of birds using an online identification app, ‘BirdNET’! Altogether a lovely unexpected enjoyable walk!

The bloomfield hotel offered us the biggest hotel room we were ever been. Very spacious, with a lake view.
Good food in the restaurant and of course swimming pool and sauna.
Unfortunately during our stay jacuzzi and steam sauna were put of order.

Beautiful location and view, walks to the lake are nice. Nice bar (lovely staff, great view over the lake, food okay). Easy parking.
Reception very „efficient“, not personal. They host many large events like weddings, so the hotel seems like a well oiled event machine.
Room was in the back, going to the parking lot and the main road - pretty noisy. Because it was hot in the room we had to keep the window open and didn‘t sleep very well.
We didn‘t use the spa / leisure center.

Heating in room on a timer controlled by reception. My parents in their 80's found it quite cold on occasion. Had to request it to be put on twice.

Spa break for us ..but getting to gym,jacuzzi etc difficult to get there as I've issues with mobility..having to climb down 2 flight of stairs.

We liked the location and the grounds outside. Room was very spacious!
Hotel is very dated, including the rooms! Food was average. Description on menu did not match what was served. Staff were trying their best but lacked basic hospitality skills. Management team need to train the staff properly.
