The smell of the room is not good and had extra cost for latte that taken from breakfast time and its not fair

the food, the pool,shower and house keep was lovely. the garden was nice. laundry service was great.

The food was good, especially the dessert. The restaurant had a good variety. The security, staff at the restaurant and other staff around were really friendly, polite, and helpful. The location was really good and serene.

Should specifically mention about the reception. First, it took a long time to check-in ( we were a bit late too) and we did not even receive a welcome drink. It was not pleasant after a long drive from Colombo to Kandy. But we saw a different set of people getting a welcome drink and I don't know the reason for a different treatment. I felt some arrogance in the air around the reception (especially from the guys in suits) and did not like the vibe at all. Should mention the exception; who escorted us to our room, who was really nice and seemed like a trainee. I had seen similar reviews about the reception before and sad that it hasn't been fixed yet.

Food staff excellent. Spa back message and foot massage brilliant. Dining area good, long walk to rooms but good for exercise

the service, staff and food were exceptional. we particularly enjoyed the pool, and the hotel is set in a beautiful location with lots of space, gardens and amazing views

The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent.

Poor customer service, staff are untrained on customer experience whether it’s front office or bar, you just can’t get service. The Mountbatten bar is dirty and full of flies that are alive and dead.

check in was disaster waited 10 min to be served at reception the Lady I don’t know the name she was not helpful at all ,I think they only interested about the wedding halls not about the in house guest ,Room424 is above the wedding hall no 3 and you can imagine the noise till late .

the property looks nice from outside and the view is amazing the problem is that it is extremely dirty and staff although I wanted to leave early did not refund the last night to make sure they take the money although I asked to leave early and changed my flights as did not find any hotel available for the last night in kandy

staff and manager are not professional only caring to make sure u pay for night we didn’t stay in as we booked for 2 rooms for my family. not even allowing one night refund for one room. rooms so dirty meaning toilet seats filthy, sheets stained, spider webs in bathrooms and carpets so stinky like a urine smell. I must stay the most horrible experience I have had
