Value for money and the owner is a good sort
A little old and run down with the rooms

Good location!
Rooms are quite outdated. Beds aren’t super comfy.
Found two cockroaches in the room. Needs a good revamp

Location, friendly staff. Facilities were clean and stock was there (coffee plunger was a nice addition).
The stay was great. It would have been nice if the fridge was turned on before our arrival to be able to put things in straight away as we had to wait for it to cool.
A few of the pillows were very very thin also so we did wake with a slightly sore neck.
Other than those two items the stay was excellent and very appreciative.

Gave us a reasonably cheap bed for the night as we were passing through Rotorua.

Clean sheets. Comfy enough bed.
The Grounds needed a ckean up. Lawns needed mowing and hedge needed trimming. The furniture in the rooms were run down and old. Shower needs replacing to look a little more modern. Should be air conditioning units in tbe rooms. Very stuffy and hot. Table and chairs outside need replacing. Chair was broken. Need descent toilet spray and toilet paper that doesnt smell. Location was good but for the price the unit wasn't worth it.

Very good place for families with skyline and mini golf next to. Children appreciated garden with playground.

Everything else was fine. I am reviewing on behalf of the family I booked for so can only comment on the things that were feed back to me from them.
We were unable to use the hot pool even though this was not stated on the booking or website. We had especially booked this hotel so we could use the hot tub for our child with disabilities. It was disappointing to get there and then find out we could not use it.

A stove and oven in the kitchen and the room was quiet even though the address was on the main road. Clean towels each day and the price was good. We also liked having enough chairs so another family member could come and have a drink with us in the evening
We were there in winter and the heater only just kept the chill off. We still had to be well dressed but that is probably one reason it was such a good price

Fairy Springs is located right next door to the luge, Gondola which is great and right at the beginning of the City when driving down from the North. There are a lot of food shops within walking distance and even a great mini golf right next door which is fun to play in the evening. The room and kitchen is a great size.
The building does look a bit tired and could do with a freshen up including a new bed as it's not the most comfortable sleep but overall we enjoyed staying at the accommodation mainly for convenience of location.

Room rather dark and shabby, replacing the carpet and soft furnishings would probably make a huge difference, but we were passing through on a holiday weekend so expensive for what we got, and it rained the whole time

Location close to luge and other attractions.
Very old outdated the bathroom shower was crap. Mould on nets. Hot water clinder kept us awake with noise. Fridge froze milk and liquids. Kitchen sink taps very hard to turn on and off same in shower. Very hard to understand English not first language. Property not looked after overgrown grass etc.

Great location, clean rooms and comfy beds. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Perfect for riding Skyline bike park as literally next door. Thank you
