the spa was excellent and the staff was very attentive to any need or want you may request. very obvious 5-star service.
We were unable to cool the room down at night which made sleeping very difficult.

After 3 months of backing in South America, in hostels, budget hotels and overnight buses, this was our luxury retreat. Nice hotel, facilities and staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Good pool (only open 2-8pm). They allowed us check-in before the official time as rooms were available. Staff helped with taxi & confirmed the fare on leaving.
Somethings dated (wear on carpets, cracked tiles on pool walls) - but would only fault it as it is a 5-star hotel.

Just don’t waste your money here.
- Really disappointing that the pool is only open 2-8 and even worse that they charge £10 to use their mandatory swimming caps! I’ve never come across a hotel that does this, let alone a “5 star”.
- The hotel and facilities are extremely dated, it’s understaffed and this shows in the rude nature of the front desk.
- The room wasn’t cleaned and there’s no AC
- Breakfast is poor
- Not particularly centrally located
Absolutely no idea how the hotel got its rating. La Paz is such a great city so I don’t recommend spoiling it by staying in this crumbling hotel.

The hotel was a charming relic of a beautiful and grand 5-star hotel. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable.
There was nothing that was bad. The one common theme throughout the hotel is that it is tired and dated.

Lovely staff, extremely comfortable and clean, and there was a great breakfast. The location was convenient and safe. We have been backpacking for 5 weeks so this was a lovely way to treat ourselves for a few nights. The leisure centre was also a big plus!

The best part of this hotel is its staff. Nelson in the restaurant will take care of you and make you feel at home. Same with Katiuska at the front desk. Always helpful and will go out of her way to accommodate your needs. Johnny at the spa is fantastic. I can't say enough about everyone who made my stay awesome.
The rooms are also very clean and spacious.
The TVs are outdated and Cable tv service is just terrible. Wi-Fi is excellent, though.

Great value for a 5 star hotel, excellent breakfast, big rooms and very clean. Excellent location in the centre of La Paz. Let us store luggage when we went on a trip to the jungle.
The Spa is only open from 2-8, think it should be open in the morning also. They also charge money for water in the Spa, most spas give water for free.

I felt comfortable in my room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice and modern pool and sauna area. Enough space in the whole hotel to relax.
