We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamala Dreams! Jan and his team were always very friendly and helpful, the rooms were quiet and clean and we slept like babies. :) Our room was directly in front of the pool, the beach just a few steps around the corner. The food and drinks at the beachview restaurant were delicious. We also enjoyed the visits on our balcony from the friendly house cat. There are many restaurants, a (night) market, bars and shops in walking distance. And if you prefer a night out in Patong (about 15 minutes drive), there are tuk tuks waiting for you. Kamala Dreams at Kamala Beach is the perfect destination for those, who would like it a bit more quiet, yet lively.

Very nice rooms, the sunset was beautifull, one of the best in the area. The landloard Jan is very friendly, and customer-oriented, Everything was perfect. Breakfast was also good, could be a little more : ) We will come again. Thank you very much Jan : )

Very clean. Near the sea

One evening the ceiling at the next room balcony falling down and we was scared. And I can't pay by card wireless

We were aware that this wasn't going to be the smartest hotel in the area and it wasn't. There is a trade off for it's great location. If you want smart and location it will cost a lot more Rooms are perfectly comfortable and a great size

swimming pool - sour water, loose lining. Not pleasant to be in Rather untidy around the hotel

It's nicely situated in Kamala. The staff are kind and helpful to a certain extent. . The pool was okay, but a bit small. They did have a microwave in the room! I would say, all told, it's just average.

Everyone who works there seems unhappy, but that just may be my impression. The price is a bit high compared to other higher end hotels as they don't have that many facilities.

The hands-on owner, staff, ambiance and location were all excellent.

Given the configuration of the facility, there was some lack of privacy.

I stayed there about 5 years ago, and i came back because i liked the place. but things have changed, and now it's not so good there. So i left after one night. Location is right on the beach, literally out of the back gate. however, that piece of beach is dirty. you have to walk about 3 minutes to get to a clean piece of beach, which is also very near by. there are plenty of restaurants and massage parlors just outside the main gate. The swimming pool is outdated and not welcoming. the shower head is also outdated and need some fixing. Room is big and spacious, but the furnitures are outdated. breakfast is very basic, coffee is not good.

Swimming pool need to be renovated. The garbage on the beach near the hotel needs to be cleaned. Shower head needs replacement. Maybe a new coffee machine too.

Lots of cats around the restaurant and kitchen. Limited breakfast options.
