Great stay on a great Thai island! Everything was great from arriving to departing. Staff was friendly, the bungalows itself were lovely and spacious, nice outside space to sit and relax in the evenings and watch the wildlife go by (fireflies, bats, geckos), and Bang Bao Bay is just stunning and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. We rented the snorkelling equipment from the hotel and went to the far right of the bay, stunning! We also used the complimentary kayaks and watched the sunset from the sea, beautiful. The restaurant of the property was right by the beach and pier and offered a lovely scenery. As the description stated there is no public swimming pool which was no issue whatsoever as the sea is so super shallow and the water is crystal clear. The beach is fairly narrow but it’s not crowded so no issue and another huge and stunning beach is only a 5 min motorbike ride from there too. Would definitely come back.

Perfect relaxing location, beautiful clear water , excellent choice of food for breakfast and dinner Snorkelling over on the right side of the bay will surprise you, use a full face mask and you can relax on top of the water and view a large display of fish around the rocky area, like an aquarium ! !

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaften Bucht und stellt den Gästen kostenlos Kayaks zur Verfügung, um diese auch zu erkunden. Weitere Wassersportaktivitäten werden ebenfalls angeboten. Wir hatten ein super Strandbungalow in dem wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und alles wird extrem sauber gehalten. Die Anlage ist ein Natural Resort, weshalb Barfußlaufen angesagt ist. Auch in den öffentlichen Toiletten! Was zuerst komisch/untypisch/ekelig klingt, ist hier kein Problem und irgendwie.. natürlich, befreiend :) der Boden wird gefühlt hinter jedem Gast nass gewischt, ich weiß es nicht, ich habe mich jedenfalls nie unwohl gefühlt und die Räumlichkeiten stets sauber vorgefunden. Das Essen ist lecker, die Sitzmöglichkeiten für Regenstunden oder das Abendessen am Strand hervorragend und wir hatten jeden Tag Liegen zur Verfügung. Der Steg, der ins Meer führt, ist herrlich. Vor allem mit den beiden Stühlen: Sonnenuntergang - Cocktails, was will man mehr. Für 300 Baht kann man täglich Roller mieten und die Insel abfahren, auch ein gutes Angebot und wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir hatten viel Spaß und haben tolle Fleckchen entdeckt. Auf die Nachricht zu unserer Verlobung hat uns das Hotel spontan einen unglaublich romantischen Tisch zum Abendessen gedeckt und mir sogar einen Blumenstrauß mit Geschenk (Erinnerung an Ort und Tag) überreicht. Wir waren absolut überwältigt und halten diesen Tag/diesen Urlaub in toller Erinnerung. Vielen Dank nochmal an das ganze Team :) alle waren so süß und freudig, freundlich. Eben stets mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht.

Das wir nicht länger bleiben konnten, aber bei einer Rundreise muss man eben irgendwann weiterziehen.

the location and "mood" was kinda sad & boring (to be fair, it was rainy season, so not much sunlight), and while the staff were always very friendly when asking them, they didn't really actively look after your needs without asking them. I would have expected better service tbh.
