I had been meaning to stay at the G for a while but I kept putting it off. This was a mistake on my part because the G was great! The check in was swift and efficient, and the staff were friendly and professional at all times. The concierge was always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the housekeeping were on the ball with the cleaning. Breakfast was in a restaurant very nearby and the food was good. The pool looked great although I didn't take a dip myself. The location is excellent for the mall, eateries, bars and massage - don't worry about any noise, though, as the hotel is very quiet.

I highly recommend the hotel. Our only gripe was that we wanted to extend our stay for another week but sadly they were fully booked (which should tell you all that you need to know really!).

This hotel deserved a 10/10 but i had to take off one point for a variety of little things which did irritate me. But the rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. A nice little balcony overlooks the pool. The pool is a good size, but needs to be when catering for over 200 hotel guests. Mostly, the staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly the male concierge. Just across the road from the beach. A laundry opposite. Close to an amazing Italian restaurant where we ate often. I would come back. I would recommend.

There are no bins around the pool, so rubbish blows around and into the pool. Used crockery & cutlery often left for hours. The bar food was just passable yet grossly over priced. The staff seemed reluctant to tidy up when it wasn't busy, and was rarely busy. Most of those poolside were 60s and 70s yet the staff played very loud doof doof music. More for their own entertainment i think. Sadly many selfish oeople drop a towel on a sunbed and then disapoear for hours. Most inconsiderate. 30 sunbeds v 200 guests means people need to be a bit more thoughtful. Finally the breakfast at 1000 baht per couple per day was very poor. Bland, tasteless food. No variety. And always ran out. 2/10 for breakfast- I did not bother!
