Dirty old room. Past cleaning and with traces of dirt from the previous guest

The hotel is just 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were excellent. The following 2 staff particularly helped make our stay really special. Hope i have spelt them correctly, Giusy on reception was always able to answer all our queries, book taxis arranged for me to stay on in the double room instead of swapping to a single as originally intended. Erodika, the lady at breakfast.. fantastic service, with a smile. Lovely cappuccino each morning and cake brought to the table. Also the lady owner, always there to greet the guests in the morning with a smile, always stopped and chatted to any children staying. Lovely lady. Thank you all.

The only negative was that there were a few groups staying during my stay and some of these were quite noisy. Our last night a group of teenagers checked in and they were so loud I ended up with my iPod on most of the night to drown out the noise. They were still loud after 2am.

Due to being so central there was a lot of traffic noise. Also some large groups of younger people were staying making it quite noisy some nights Single room was very small, but adequate

no aircon, forced to open the windows. there are contractors working near the windows. very noisy annoying and dusty.

Well-located in Montecatini, near the Montecatini Centro train station (5-10 minute easy walk). The room was pleasant, with a balcony. It was clean and the staff was pleasant and informative.

Too much furniture, i.e., chairs in the room. In my case, less would have been more. Perhaps adding drapes over the balcony doors would have been a plus. Breakfast could have included a few more options, though it certainly was good. Nevertheless, overall, good value for the money.

This hotel has a great balance between price and quality.

Super friendly and accommodating staff - insisted in make me cappuccino at the bar even after I had already made one for myself at the machine. Generous breakfast. Nicely prepped gluten-free breakfast for our daughter as reserved the day before. Infrastructure old, but attentively maintained. Very reasonable prices.

The experience

The location was just perfect! A 5-minute walk from the city center and surrounded by every kind of shops and restaurants. There is a supermarket just in front of the hotel and multiple ethnic restaurants in the surroundings. We were in 4 (my husband and my 2 daughters), so we booked 2 rooms since our oldest daughter is already 19. They kindly booked both rooms on the same floor despite the second reservation came into through booking while the other was part of a wedding gift we got last year. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The night we arrived to the hotel was my husband's birthday and they even prepared a small birthday cake (candle included!) In no time that they brought to our table at the end of our dinner! We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights from friday to sunday and got the chance to visit Pisa on our first day (45 min by car), Florence on our second (55 min by car) and Lucca on our last (30 min drive). Food was excellent, typical Tuscany dishes enhanced by their chef as they also have a restaurant inside. Buffet for breakfast included different pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, jam, butter, bread, milk, juice and different options of hot drinks . Each room had clean toilet with shower and towels (3 per person of different sizes), hairdryer. There is a minifridge in each room and if asked they can prepare minibar service as well. There is a TV in each room and a balcony. Next to the reception they have a small bar where you can fancy a coffee or drink!

The toilet in the ground floor was a little odd, yet not enough to make us regret any of the days we stayed there!

Great location

Shower was not that good and the bed was 2 and separated, so for us, traveling in couple, was a bad choice.

Perfect. Good breakfast, nice view from balcony, amazing people. Absolutely incredible and warm. I've liked everything.

May be inernet could be a bit faster. But still it worked all the time.
