The list cation and price are outstanding, the accomodation is basic but very good value for money , it is much more then I expected for pub accomodation and wouldn't hesitate to stay again but only for a night or 2

De ‘prive’ douches worden inderdaad erg vies zoals ook aangegeven in de andere reviews. De volledige badkamer staat onder water. Simpel op te lossen door een verhoging te maken, dus snap niet waarom dat niet gebeurt.

Location was perfect, 2min walk to a point break on Kirra beach. Felt safe and secure. My be was comfortable and my bed linen and towels were very clean.

The air conditioner was broken, I had to change rooms. The skylights, windows, blinds, curtains and lockers need some work! Starting to look very tired

The staff are very friendly and make an effort to make you feel welcome.

My room could have done with some TLC. A repaint and upgrade to the furniture would have been nice - and I noticed one of the lockers was broken, so a padlock couldn't be put on it. The room itself felt like a prison cell - very cold and shabby. Some of the bathrooms operate like wetrooms - i.e., a shower in the corner of the room with a toilet in the other corner. The drainage was terrible, so the floors would be covered in grit and water, so it was unpleasant to walk in. The bottom of the building operates as a bookies and a bar/restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, and the food is good. The clientele in the bookies are less than desirable and attract negative energy to the overall experience.

Loud Mexican girl on phone at 6 am and people wearing thongs (flip flops) shuffling along in corridor making noise on way to shared bathrooms during sleep times. Lack of etiquette of some people staying in the hostel rooms.

La struttura era okay, bagni perfetti e cucina perfetta e pulita aperta h24, vicino la spiaggia e al supermercato. Ci sono bus fino a tarda sera se si vuole andare in centro “surfer paradise” ma il quartiere di coolangatta è bellissimo!

Siamo andate via per delle divergenze nostre, ma la struttura è ottima, consiglio :)

The sands hotel is in an excellent location. Staff were very friendly, and the meals were great value for money.

Location. They only book bottom bunks in dorm rooms so it's never too crowded. Outdoor balcony is great and food and beer in restaurant is good too.

Whole place could do.with a renovation. It's just a bit old and tired looking.

For the price I thought the rooms were not worth the money, no TV and shower and toilet area was a mess

is a lot of money for double room shared bathroom. No tv in room. Place needs a good refresh and clean . Toilet paper should be put in the small bathrooms. Water in hallway from leaks needs to be mopped up and leaks fixed. wifi also not working.

My 2nd time staying here. Affordable, right by the beach and close to the airport.

wasn’t aware it was a backpackers accommodation. loud slamming of closing doors all through the night. Backpackers stay up all night and sleep in late.
