The location was perfect for exploring historic Lecce. Tullio was very friendly and made our checking simple. He explained the city as well as the area and what there was to see and do. He also helped make dinner reservations for us! Breakfast was on the roof with a great view of the city.

The only thing that was a small problem is that our room has a portion of the wall that didn't go to the ceiling, therefore you could hear people in the hallway.

It's a wonderful location in the old town of Lecce; an old palazzo that retains character but where the rooms are comfortable and well equipped; a very cool roof terrace; and Tullio who runs it who provides a great breakfast and is just a great source of information: where to park, where to eat and things to see (including the things missed out by the guide books). Wow.

Parking in Italy especially near the old town is often a problem. Tullio helpfully provides advice - we found viale XX settembre always had spaces but is 6 min walk away. Fine for us. If you want to stay in the old town there is no alternative.

The breakfast was plentiful. Everything was fresh and some was homemade. You have breakfast whatever time suits the Guest as there was no set time for breakfast. Nothing was an issue. There were big dining tables where you could join other guests, or you could dine at your own table.

The roof top could do with some modernizing and i know this is planned for after the season this year.

The host was exceptional. Tulio was in touch beforehand via WhatsApp to ensure that we found our way easily to the location. The guest house was in the heart of the historic city and so it was very easy to visit the sights. The roof terrace was a great place to eat the excellent breakfast and to look at the skyline of churches and museums. The room was comfortable and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Azzurretta B&B was fantastic. Central location and a beautiful terrace with a view overlooking Lecce. Tullio is a very kind and helpful host, and provided lots of useful tips on places to see and eat in Lecce and the neighbouring towns. 11/10 - can’t wait to stay here again!

Loved everything.

The property is in the central historic district. It is in a quiet area with a beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast seating and just enjoying time above the beautiful city of Lecce. although within the historic center, It is a short walk outside of the city wall for easy access to visit other towns using Lecce as a base location. but what I love most of all was the owner and operator, Trullio! More about him later!

It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have medical conditions that make climbing stairs difficult, one might find it a little difficult to climb the stairway up to the terrace. It is very safe, but it is worth mentioning.

The host was very kind, he gave us all information we needed about the town, about trips in the country. The breakfast was perfect, homemade. He did everything for our comfort. We could feel like being at home.

Host was lovely, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was best we had on our trip.

If you’re looking for shabby chic, this place is shabby but lacks the chic. The room was ok but electrics worrying, bathroom poor. Nice to have facility of sun terrace but it’s really run down.

Very friendly welcome, nice decoration, location and beautiful terrace. Tullio was very nice, gave us great advice and communication was perfect! The terrace is beautiful and breakfast delicious.

The first room we had the first night was a bit noisy with a noisy fan and noise from the street if you keep windows open but of course still very bearable. The second room we had for the second night (since the first one was the family one and already booked for the second night) was quieter :)

Tullio was an incredible host full of life and made us feel at home in Lecce! As two female travellers this is an incredibly safe location with the centre a couple of mins away and the streets is lively and very well lit up, no problems getting home late. The breakfast was also unreal, we were able to try local pastries with gorgeous views and felt fully immersed into the culture. We can not thank Tullio enough, thank you!

Great location inside old city walls of Lecce. Spacious room with comfortable bed with clean sheets and decent shower. Very friendly host (Tullio) who went out of his way to give us recommendations on sites and attractions in and around Lecce. Nice dinner recommendations and best gelato of the trip! Very nice breakfast on the terrace. Great value!

parking in lecce is a little tricky but that was the only fault and nothing to do with the property!

We spent our honeymoon in Lecce and stayed in Tullios B&B! The location is perfect in the middle of the historic center (we walked from the train station there). The rooms are spacious, elegant and very clean. But the best part of the location is the terrace with a great view. You can stay there the whole day. In the morning the sunrise and in the evening the sunset are great to watch. The breakfast Tullio prepares individually for every guest is fantastic and very good! Tullio gave us great advices for trips and individual tours. It was no problem to leave our luggage and still spend time on the terrace at our check out day. We really recommend Azzurretta B&B and Tullio as a host. We will definitely come back!!

Tulli is the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. He was charming, very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious….yoghurt, cereal, pastries, fruit, savoury scones & artisan breads, cheese & hams. Great views of Lecce from the terrace. The room & bathroom was immaculately clean and very quiet at night. The property is full of character and very conveniently situated within the historic town walls. Would thoroughly recommend.
