Spacious room and cleaned facilities

Clean and modern room with good facilities. Friendly staff member at check-in.

Room was incredibly noisy and spoilt our stay. We were planning to make an early start to our second day of the Great Ocean Road tour but it was hampered by another customer in the toom beside us arriving back late at night and having 6 people chatting loudly in his room until 3:15am (we knew this because my husband watched them leave). It was reported to the staff member at reception when we returned the keys, who expressed surprise and said she would raise it with the person when he checked out.

Lovely and attentive staff. The room was clean and spacious. In a great location. Soundproofing was good. Will definitely consider returning in the future.

It is a little bit dated and the beds are hard, but expected at the price point. The exhaust fan is on a timer which is impractical.

They advertised the wrong room and got upset when I wanted the room I had booked through this site. I believe they were actually pulling the old bait and switch trick. The staff are underhanded and two faced, criminal. They then tried to charge my account as they claimed that the room was filthy ( after one night or rather less than 15 hours) however were very shocked that not only did I catch the extra charges on my bank account, I have photos of how the room was left, no dirty dishes and food as they claimed. I used to work in the the hotel industry and I'm familiar with this underhanded type of activity by unscrupulous hotel industry workers. They were upset I wanted what I had paid for but refused to pay an upgrade because they used the wrong photos to sell the room. Now let's get started on the room; dust everywhere, food dried onto countertops, stains on bed linen, carpet with hair and fluff ... obviously not vacuumed. I travelled to Warrnambool to go to the hospital...the beds were so uncomfortable I woke up at 4am in terrible pain. Their pillows were wafer thin and smelled strange upsetting my asthma. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anyone and shocked bookings would have it listed on site.

Great location, very easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

There was a 2cm gap under the door, so when other guests were smoking outside, the smoke smell came into our room. The hair dryer was also broken, not a big deal for us but might be for others.

Hard bed, sensor light going off just outside window, no car spaces to park, bathroom door hard to operate
