We had the best stay. Close location to meeting our guide, and had a great dock for fishing on our own. House had a great layout for visiting with friends.

Yearly family girls trip to Canton. We have rented this house before, and it is perfect!!! View of the lake is beautiful!!! We all had an enjoyable visit!

Family came and celebrated my 48 birthday and it was a nice two nights! We felt at home and had all we needed for a relaxing time. We fished off the dock, kids played on the beach and we had good food a day family time! We would rent this place again, as it was a great fit!

We so enjoyed Vida Loca and had a wonderful and relaxing time and already have said we would love to go back! The detail to all the cute decor really made the home pleasant and we actually took pictures to remember all the little touches. The host was wonderful!

This was just a quick family weekend get together. It was great that my grandson could play in the water right in front of the house. Even though the water is down in the lake we were still able to bring our pontoon boat right up to the dock.

The house was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The spot is beautiful and quiet. The owner was great to deal with as well. We loved having access to the kayak boats Overall it was a wonderful weekend. Wonderful family memories were made.

We were in town to see my nephew play football. So we didn’t take advantage of the lake, but it was certainly tempting. The view from the house is awesome! The back porch is a great place to relax.

Every year our family stays at a Lakehouse to reconnect with each other. This home was perfect for us! We spent most of our time on the wrap around porch or in the lake. The dock had ladders, a place to tie up a boat (safely & securely) and the lake floor was free of debris. The common area was perfect… I loved how accommodating it was… whether it was family game night or family movie night, we fit perfectly! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked and we had plenty of towels, tp, paper towels, & trash bags (usually a sore spot for us!). The only thing we had a problem with was the local pizza place “lost” our order and we had to eat sandwiches for dinner on our last night. No problems at all with the home, location, or amenities!! Thanks for an unforgettable family trip!

All the comforts of home, but with a lake view from almost every room. We will be back to enjoy this cozy lake home and Marcie’s extraordinary hospitality!

This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life! Home is well kept, clean, and perfect for a family stay Location on water makes for great water sports and fishing within feet of the dock. We caught a coue nice white bass right from the dock! Kids and mom/dad all give this home a thumbs up

The property was great, the views were the best. Had a great time. Would definitely do it again. Owner was very responsive and quick to get a small AC problem handled fast.

This place was open, relaxing and enjoyable. My only criticism is to add a screen door to the back and front door to allow that amazing morning breeze to blow through the house while enjoying a cup of morning coffee. This place was exactly what we were looking for. A+++++ property.

After a year of isolation, it might seem strange that we were looking for a place just to get away from the hubbub, but that's what we were after and that's exactly what we got--a quiet and relaxing getaway. The house is as lovely as the pictures with plenty of space and has just about everything you could need. (I will say that the collection of cookware is a bit eclectic, so if there's something specific you need for cooking, double-check before arriving or bring it with you, and if you prefer to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase, you might need more hangers.) It's also in a very quiet area, which is really nice for a getaway. There wasn't much boat traffic in that area, we only saw one neighbor on the lakefront, and only a few people anywhere in the neighborhood as we were out and about. Perfect. The only other thing I'd point out, in case it's important to you, is that the internet in the area is not fiber optic and can apparently be iffy sometimes. We knew this in advance so adjusted travel dates slightly so we wouldn't absolutely need a solid connection for work purposes, and I'm glad we did. The first day or so, the weather was stormy and the connection was very intermittent. And television access is entirely streaming, so without the internet, there's also no TV. But, once the weather moved out, the connection was totally fine. Also, though our phones (ATT) seemed to work fine the entire week we were there, when we got out of the area a bit, a bunch of older text messages were delivered. Obviously, there's nothing the owners can do about this sort of thing, but if you're someone who absolutely must stay entirely within reach at all times, you might want to check with your provider about service in the area. But, I point out these minor details only for a fuller picture of the environment because I know not everyone is looking for the same thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at his house, and it gave us exactly what we needed from our vacation. The open kitchen/living area let everyone stay involved in the conversation (or TV show) even when meals were being prepared, all the windows throughout the house gave wonderful views of the lake, the patio was fantastic, with lots of different seating areas to enjoy the outdoors, and the patio table was a great place for a peaceful dinner, especially on nights we grilled out. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing getaway on the water, you won't be disappointed here.

everything was perfect and clean except the towel was dirty!! and fence!! we had a hard time watching the kids all the time because there is no fence! Other than that it’s great please and I’ll recommend to my friends.

The home is great! Water isn't deep at the dock so fishing wasn't good but the kids loved canoeing.

La Vida Loca was just what we were looking for in lake house get away. Perfect location with plenty of outside patio furniture for socialize with the family. Being located at the end of a quite street just added to the enjoyment.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a quick drive from DFW and the house is located on a great area of the lake. The private dock and great patio made for a wonderful trip. We will be back.
