It was what we expected a quaint old fashioned property in a beautiful location.

The location was wonderful, at the end of the town near the river. There's a bar at it too so you can socialize and walk to your room safely. All very walkable. The room was spacious and the shower was great. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond helping me sort non-related issues such as making calls, and arranging the return of lost items to Anchorage for me. I would 100% stay here again.

The location is excellent, and it was very close to the river. The grounds were beautiful and fun to explore.

We stayed in the off-season and the hotel was basically desolate. We didn’t really like that they stuck loud partiers in the room right next to us when the hotel was basically empty. With paper thin walls, our family got very little sleep. We didn’t realize they provided ear plugs in a bowl in the kitchenette area until we were leaving the next day. We could have used them but wished we didn’t have that issue. The beds were also very uncomfortable and the room seemed a lot dingier than the photos. There is a bar in the hotel and it seems like a hotel where people go straight from the bar to the bed. Not exactly a family friendly place

The town resembles a small mining town 100+ years ago. The inn is located near the river with a view of the Alaskan range (Denali) with flightseeing trips available nearby.

Shuttle from to the train station was provided No breakfast ,but places to walk very close.

The family room is exactly what more hotels should have. It was a warm, cozy and spacious room. There was one full bed and two twin beds, that were conveniently placed such that everyone can sleep well with plenty of room to walk around without bumping into beds or furniture. The beds were comfortable with very clean bedding and linens. The hotel is walking distance away from the town center that has multiple places to eat and shop. It was a very convenient location with close access to river. We absolutely loved our stay at the inn and would love to come back again!!

This property is right on the river. We were fortunate enough to get a river view from our room. The room is basic but has a nice microwave and mini fridge. A bar on the property is nice if you’re like me and prefer not to drive after a nightcap. This inn is an easy walk to downtown restaurants, history museum and shopping. Comfy bed, hot shower. The location can’t be beat and the staff we friendly and accommodating.

Location

No heat in room, they brought us a heater after complaining. No TV in room. Room very small, room for 2 twin beds and that's about it.

Not much. Short walk to the river and nice view there if not cloudy.

No temp control in our room. My wife got cold, when I asked how to turn up heat the sourpuss working the desk said she would give us some blankets but that’s all she could do.

Convenient walk to town but also a nice view of the river!
