Pool was clean, big. Sea view was awesome

Huge complex at the border of the city with a great view. You have a pool, a 2 stage terrace and hundreds of places to sit. Even if all appartments would be booked you will have plenty of space. Furnishing is not new and a bit worn, but has it's own decadent charme. Those who understand savoir-vivre will love this place, but everyone else will like it as well! All pictures of this place can't measure it's size.

The view from the property was beautiful overlooking the whole of the bay. The rooms spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Daniel was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Although the property is a little dated it has a real charm, but some people might like a more modern look.

This place is in the perfect location. Spacious apartment with all the amenities. The staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! breathtaking views from pool area day and night. full equipped kitchen with a spacious apartment (no1). lots of wild life, saw wild grey foxes and iguanas. (we also loved that looked after the cats around the property) nice personal touch of how Daniel told us how they acquired the property. wonderful family run business.

lumpy pillows and hard bed

Loved that it was close to the town but above it overlooking the ocean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept.

maybe a soft lounge chair would have been nice.

The pool was amazing, and the view over town to the ocean was beautiful. Very quiet and private. Loved having a small kitchen. Good AC. Decor was very European, reminded me of traveling in Croatia and Hungary.

The towels could use an upgrade.

Perhaps the entrance is a little bit difficult to enter to the property in a low car, but no complaints.

We liked that the hotel is on a hill so had a great view and breezes, and yet only a 10 minute walk to town. Bring a flashlite if it is dark though. There are only about 6 apartments for rent, yet the pool and entire facility is for a larger place. There were only another couple, and occasionally the owners, using the public areas while we were there. It is very secure with a locked gate to go in and out.

Shower was a little weak, and there wasn't a microwave.

The place is nice and quiet and clean. View to the ocean and pool awesome. Beautiful landscape.

No microwave and very little kitchen stuff. No shampoo or soap. Toiled and hand wash need replacement(new ones) water from hand wash slow. Towels have been used to long, Hard and old. AC only on bedroom. The place is smoking permited.

Pool was awesome, great location close to town but just outside with beautiful views. Hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. I stayed for six days and was taking Spanish at Escuala Intercultura which was only a short walk. Overall had a great time!

The bed was very hard and only had single sheets for coves on double bed, towels were a bit rough on skin. Had to borrow toaster and water boiler from main area because they weren’t available for individual apartments.

Location was incredible. We were so happy we weren't staying right in the town. It was nice to leave the hustle and bustle at the end of the day, walk 5 minutes up the road and be in total peace and quiet with beautiful views and a gorgeous pool. Laundry machine on site was a huge bonus for us. Our hosts were great and very responsive to any inquiries. The fact that the property is gated really appealed to us so we never once had to worry about our belongings (although Costa Rica is a pretty safe country, you don't really have to worry anyways). Also the sunsets from the pool deck are fabulous. We would definitely stay here again.

Not a dislike but just a preference, we like to pay with credit card (for the points) but they only take cash. Other than that, no complaints at all :)
