Location, possibility to park, clean room.

The breakfast was good but for 4* hotel (probably) O expect a little bit more. Staff was nice but after we finished breakfast and one day dinner as well it’s a bit of impolite to start moving the table to “gently” inform you to leave. Same after dinner (which was good) to ask us if we want anything else or not. I understand, they have to make their work, preparations etc but for me as a guest it’s annoying. Also contact with reception- they answered via Booking message very late and were sending us meaningless info that we didn’t pay in advance which was not true 🙄

De lo que hay en maitencillo es de los mas lindos. El desyuno muy bien con vistas al mar. Esta muy bien ubicado!

The size and cleanliness of the room, friendly staff, great view

Too close to the road Restaurant short of staff Bookings policy. My daughter put the wrong date ( 1 more day in the beginning of my stay) Wrote to remove that date and Booking did not allow it. I paid for an expensive stay that I did not use. I will not use Booking again.

Breakfast perfect. Everything clean.

The Hotel didn’t have enough places to parking, and in the reception didn’t gave you a solution, just tell you, “you have to look and search one”. That’s a problem, maybe the solution could be, have reserve parking places for the guests and not for all the people that go to the restaurant.

The flooring, no carpets and no robes in the rooms. Also the door lock was broken (seem forced), so it was very hard to close the door.

i rarely give 10/10 to any hotel but Hotel Mae gets there. everything was fantastic, location, food, staff service, room set up even the weather!

The hotel is nice and the view was amazing since it looked directly into the ocean. The breakfast was ok, but the sweets on the second day were so good.

While the hotel is relatively new, there are some things that are starting to need maintenance. For example, one of the windows couldn't close well and the shower was slightly blocked.

I liked the staff service, they were super friendly and made you feel welcome. Also, they have a great hot tub with wonderful views and a wonderful indoor pool as well.

The floor was all ceramic, so it was very cold when walking bearfoot. Usually, considering the value, these type of hotels have carpeting on the bedroom, at least. Also no good closet space. The doors were blocked by the same furniture.

The room was fine, great ocean view, comfortable bed, good shower. The service was good and the staff were excellent, attentive and friendly.

WiFi in the room was not good. The shower drain was partially blocked so the tray filled up with water until it spilled over onto the floor. The dinner menu looked great but the food was very strange. We shared sweetbreads as a starter. They unexpectedly came with a strange, sweet and sticky sauce and orange slices on a cold, cast iron skillet. Of course soon the food was cold too. I sent it back for reheating but that was only partially successful. My octopus main course was also served on a cold skillet and the meat was tough. My wife's French onion soup was awful - a sort of much reduced sauce, not soup, with bread and cheese sitting in it, also served in a cold skillet. Sometimes the best way to cook a classic dish is with the traditional recipe. The chef is being too innovative. Sadly, that didn't carry through to breakfast when my wife's request for a boiled egg was refused because "we are only serving scrambled eggs and fried eggs today". How sad is that!
