It’s at a pretty good location! The vibes are top notch.

It was a very comfortable as well as a memorable experience for me at Zostel Ooty. The staffs were very cooperative and helpful. The location of the hostel is very convenient for solo travelers as the bus stand is just a kilometre away and most of the attractions in and around Ooty are accessible by bus.

The food was good to eat and at fair enough price points and was being served hot, so overall, it was good. Liked the open space and bonfire and the morning sun to read and chill. even common area to play and chill was quite good.
Washrooms were most of the time crowded and not very clean. The beds were super squeaky and too much noise troubled me sleeping. There was no workspace of any sort for someone who might wish to work or attend a meeting during the trip.

My time at the zostel was really great! The zostel is so much cleaner than every other Hotel or Hostel i stayed in! The bedsheets where white and clean. No dust or dirt on the floor! Is is not only clean but very cosy!
The location is also perfect if you want to be close to the bus stand and nature at the same time. It has a nice view over the town.
There is also a restaurant that has many options you can choose from. Really delicious!
If you need something or have any problems, then contact the staff! They are really friendly and try to make your stay as memorable as possible!
Some people in the room were quite noisy in the morning. It is still a hostel and no hotel so that I just needed to accept.

It was high in the hills so I could sunbathe and be away from the town. It was well looked after and very friendly staff with good food

Great shared facilities in a good location overlooking Ooty but away from the hustle and bustle.
Shared dorm didn't feel very private as it was accessed directly from the reception. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Everything i like about the place. Staff are friendly, great food while i stayed there, got so many good friends while at zostel during my stay.

place is really good. few inutes of walk from the main bus stand. property owner Zain and manager Dipankar are very accomodating. staff if friendly too. worth visiting for the incredible climate and relax for days.

Great location and fun place with lot of buzz. You will meet many backpackers.

Me n my husband stayed here for couple of days. We had booked a private room.
Our initial impression towards Zostel concept was it is meant only for bagpackers.
But after our stay our assumption proved wrong.
Ambience and hospitality is very good. We met lot of people during our stay and made good connects.
The cleanliness is good and you get all the basic amenities here. Food was average but that shouldn’t be your deciding factor as you have many options around the Hotel.
