Clean, comfortable accommodation. a 5 minute walk to Plaza de Poncho with breakfast.

Great little guest house less than 5 minutes to Market. Clean, simple, very good value for money. Staff very friendly. English Is limited but google translate worked well.

Barking dogs In night (not hostal’s fault). bring ear plugs.

Everything (except windows) was extremely nice: nice bathroom with reliably hot water, spacious room with comfy bed, nice view of the mountain and good location not far from the center. Can't comment on breakfast as we never had it.

Host tried to charge us for the "commission" (which is what they have to pay to booking). I don't know if it was an honest mistake or if they routinely try that on tourists; In any case we refused and they backed off, I suggest you do the same. Windows noise insulation is terrible, you can hear a lot of noise.

Room was clean and building secure. Bed was comfortable. Purified water available at reception. Laundry service for $3/kg very efficient same day service. Quiet. Location was an easy walk to bus station and 2 blocks from Plaza de Ponchos the main market with several nearby restaurants.

Toilet didn’t have a seat. I was locked out of the building for 45 minutes the first day of Carnival but then I was given a key to enter the building independently. I asked for hot milk for coffee and was told it is not included in the breakfast. The owner was rather rigid- breakfast was coffee or tea, a roll, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and juice. No jam or butter for the roll.

We got in very late. The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. They let us keep our bags there for hours after check out so we could enjoy the Saturday market. They were very accommodating.

I had booked two rooms with king beds for us and another couple we were traveling with. Apparently there was some snafu as I booked the rooms online and someone there had already been given the other king room. One of our rooms ended up being a double room with to full beds. No big deal.
