Absolutely nothing

Everything was lovely - exceeded expectations in every way. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home, and the breakfasts were to die for with lots of home-made tasty treats. The room was beautifully appointed, but more more importantly, so comfortable (only the thought of the waiting breakfast got us out of bed in the morning). Their dog (which we requested to meet) was another highlight :) We will definitely be back!

Hostess was lovely and organised everything very well. Location was great within walking distance of amenities. Lovely grand character home well refurbished. Breakfast was great quality with good choices. always good to chat over breakfast with other guests.

Not all rooms are ensuite connected so had to cross passage to use.Understandable with house layout and wasn't a problem.

Jane is a wonderful host and ensures your stay is as comfortable as possible. I absolutely loved her breakfast

Stunning place , that’s well appointed and tastefully decorated . Every consideration has been given to the little extra luxuries , and were a nice touch . Great breakfast and friendly host. Compared to our usual mediocre Portside accommodations, this is perfect for business travelers and leisure alike .

the facilities made me feel like i was at home, all the comforts of home, beer in the fridge, chips, coffee, the bathroom was perfectly clean, the shower had great water pressure

Superb room. Large, very well appointed with a good sized tv, a sofa & comfy chairs. Lots of little extras included such as a heated bathroom floor, various teas, coffees, beers, wine, snacks and cakes all available to the guests. Jane, our host, creates a superb breakfast using the best ingredients and even went out and bought something I asked for that wasn’t on the menu. A top quality stay for a very reasonable price all in.

Very nice stay - kind people, pretty house, well kept. Good location.

Prefer an en suite bathroom, but it was fully disclosed and very manageable.
