We loved the property. It is small. But for a family of 4 the boys had ample room in the spare bedroom. Parking is good and there is plenty of room on the deck. Communication was amazing with the property management. They were very quick to reply to all my messages and gave accurate information back. The check in process is super easy. The apartment is smaller but perfect for our needs. The location is less than a 100 yard walk from the public beach access. Which is a great spot. Good beach space and good surf. You are a bit east of all the downtown eateries and shopping so we drove into town. Parking can be a bit of a problem you just have to drive around a bit. The property has been recently updated and photos are accurate. The cleaning staff was amazing. We ran into her after returning from the beach. Again I can’t speak highly enough of how kind the Managment and cleaning staff were. Very helpful and made our stay amazing. I’m almost regretting giving this review because we intend on using it again in the near future and I would hate for it to be booked up. Definitely a hidden gem.

Beach was down the block. Easy to walk to. Owner had beach chair too. Plus outside shower to rise the sand off. Rental was clean. Enjoy the porch in morning with our coffe.

Deck and grill were awesome as well as the proximity to the beach. Facility a little dated and quirkily designed but overall a pretty enjoyable spot.

Nice apartment for my sister & I to visit Folly Beach. Super close access to the beach. Ashley Ave can be very busy & a little loud at times but that did not put any damper on our visit. Owner was super sweet. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Charleston for a wedding and decided to come a bit early to add some beach time! This was the perfect spot for quick and easy access to the beach! We spent very little time inside, but appreciated having a nice clean and comfortable bed to sleep in. One of our window a/c units was not working well and our host had a new one installed right away! We were so appreciative of the immediate effort to make things right. The ease of getting to and enjoying the beach from this location made it a perfect fit for us. The town of Folly was so laid back and enjoyable. We will be renting here again!

Love folly beach

Property was exactly as described and perfect for spring break getaway with my 2 teens. A block to the beach and 15 minute walk to Bert’s market and restaurants. I appreciated the pre-trip communication letting me know what I needed to bring. Beach wasn’t crowded at all since we were a few blocks from the pier. Would stay here again!

We were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is simple and casual and very comfortable for three people. It is clean and well stocked with appliances and equipment. Beds are very comfortable. Everything was as advertised and it exceded our expectations We especially enjoyed the deck and the location near the beach. It is a quiet neighborhood with a 1 mile walk into town to restaurants and stores. We wished we could have scheduled a longer stay on the island.

This place couldn't have worked out better for us. We spent a week touring the Charleston area, but wanted to be near a beach for relaxation time. Folly Beach is really awesome, and has a ton of character. The drive to downtown Charleston and other attractions was not bad at all. For the price, this unit was well worth it. Perfect size for my husband, 20 year old daughter and myself, and a very short walk to the beach. The unit had everything we needed, and was clean and it was apparent they have been updating it, as the furniture was different from the pictures when I orginally booked it. I would say if you plan to do a lot of in-depth cooking, you might struggle with the size of the stove, no dishwasher, and minimal cooking items, but for us, we were cooking easy meals, and ate out a lot, so it was a non-issue for us, and it had what we needed to cook. Definitely not a complaint, unless you are into major cooking. I had a couple special requests of extra pillows/blankets, due to a recent shoulder surgery, and all was provided for me. A shout out to Carol, one of the employees, that we saw most mornings when we were leaving for the day, and she was very friendly, willing to help in whatever we needed (notably, a picture of my family on the beach on our last day, amongst other things!), and gave us restaurant tips that turned out to be spot on! If we are back in the Charleston area, we will definitely rent this unit again. Thanks for the great place to stay!

Quiet and cozy little place that enough space for the four of us and our little dog. Literally 100 yards from the beach, if that, which was wonderful. Nothing extravagant, but we were just there to sleep and the rest of the time we were on the beach. We didn’t need fancy. If you need something close to everything, but far enough away from the busy Center St. without having to spend a ton of money, this is it. Thank you for the awesome weekend. We hated to leave.

Super close to the beach but a little far from town to walk. Quiet place with a very nice deck and outdoor shower. Comfortable beds but the couch is not ideal. Takes dogs which is a big plus.

With this being a minute walk from the beach Access you couldn't hope for a better bargain

I love staying here with my dog. It is steps from the beach and less than a mile to restaurants and shops. The property manager is nearby and always very attentive to questions or issues.

We enjoyed our long weekend on Folly at this property. We really appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs that were provided, as well as the very close proximity to the beach. If we had any suggestions, it would be to provide more blankets/comforters for the beds….just a personal preference. The beds only come with a sheet and a very thin blanket. :) The furniture for the kitchen and living room are outdoor/patio furniture and not very comfortable for long term sitting. Overall, the house’s best features are proximity to the beach. It is bare bones in terms of comfort, and the 9am check out time is very early! We did enjoy our stay, but a review would have helped us pack better bedding, etc.

The apartment is quaint, meaning it is comfortable but could use some updates. The location is amazing, just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The host is responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect size for my sister and I. Very close to the beach. A little bit of a hike to Bert’s and Center Street but we had no problems getting Ubers. I would stay here again.

This was a great location....right by 7th street access. The property owner and manager were so nice and helpful. We had everything we needed and the place was clean and quaint...loved being up in treetops. And the best part was finding a place that was pet friendly so our two dogs could come with us!

Loved the location. Friendly caretakers with good tips about the island and placed to eat. Equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation at the beach. We even asked them if they had a cake pan for our little girl’s birthday celebration and they provided it. We would go again and stay at the same place in a heartbeat! Thanks so much!

Loved our stay! I will give a more in depth review below, but in short it’s got everything you need for a week at the beach with your family. House is clean and comes with what you need: 4 beach towels, 4 sets of bath/hand/wash towels with hand soap, dishes, salt, pepper, etc. I would recommend bringing hand soap for the kitchen and bathroom and any cooking condiments like olive oil, ketchup, mustard etc. There is a separate fenced in space for the upstairs and downstairs units with their own outdoor showers. This was great for our pups. We stayed in the upstairs unit and having the additional deck, which was also fenced in, was so appreciated. The beach access is about 100 yards from the house. Folly beach downtown is a short hike. It’s only 6.5 blocks from downtown but they are long blocks. Was fun walking into town and looking at all the houses. Where the house is situated people tend to drive pretty fast. There are no sidewalks so it felt unnerving with a baby in a stroller. Once you get closer to downtown there are more people walking in the road so drivers slow down. We found it best to walk with traffic and drivers went around us. Most restaurants were difficult to get in so I suggest packing food. I was hoping to eat out more but with the distance to downtown and the wait for a table we wound up getting fast food from Bert’s mostly. We did have some good pizza at Woodys and yummy tacos at taco boy. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This unit was just what we needed for a short stay for our family of three - which included my husband and my 18 year old daughter. Very short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and cozy. The spacious deck is a plus. We were able to walk to restaurants and the Market during our short stay. However, it would probably be preferable to have access to a car or golf cart for a longer stay. This unit is a good value given the proximity to the beach.

Incredibly convenient beach access! House is a good pit stop if you plan to spend a lot of time out and about enjoying all that Folly has to offer.
