We loved the location and interior design of this modern looking hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The spa area is small, yet enough for a short getaway over the weekend. The rooftop pool is warm enough to have a comfortable swim even when the weather is a bit chilly and windy. Deckchairs are new and the view from the roof down to the lake is fantastic.

Eventhough we had a wonderful room with a view to the woods, the sound of the generator was quite disturbing during the night. We had to shut the window- which was a bit unfortunate, because we’re used to sleep with a tilted window.

The service we experienced in the hotel was excellent, all staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We truly felt a welcomed guest. The diners we had in the hotel restaurant were very good, nice combinations of food and when needed small changes in menu/course were possible in case one of use requested. When we had one slight issue during one of our diners, caused by a miscommunication in the kitchen, our waitress apologized immediately and offered a nice cognac as compensation.

Breakfast was excellent. We only stayed one night on our way to somewhere else so had limited time to enjoy the facilities. The pool was lovely.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been good. The view from the back of the hotel is lovely but it is on a road so there is some traffic noise. Not problem at all in the room.
