The room was lovely and the staff were constantly cleaning the room and providing drinks and home made cookies. The restaurant was fantastic.

It was disappointing that you had to pay 15 euros to use the pool.

The best place to stay at annecy

Absolutely stunning hotel,beautiful location. The staff were so helpful They organised a taxi for us to get to the train station on a hot day with no problem. Would highly recommend staying here and will return here again!. Please give my thank you to tge staff at the desk and the concierge (I cannot remember their names but they were 3 men). They are fantastic staff and I hope they are appreciated 😀

The location is a little bit out of the town however the views are amazing and the walk is beautiful

Incredible that guests are charged €15/hour to use the hotel pool. The photos give the impression that it is rather more secluded than it is, whereas it is immediately adjacent to busy urban residential area. It was not made clear than a lake view window is more expensive at the time of booking. For a place that represents itself as a resort, the gym is very poorly equipped.

We asked for an upgrade as the room we had booked only had a side lake view - for an additional 30 euros per night it was worth the extra investment to have the benefit of a wonderful full lake view.

The main restaurant was very expensive and with a limited menu. We were aware of this before we booked but had decided we would have one evening meal at the Brasserie and then dine in Annecy. It is quite a hike into the centre - a good 30 minutes at a very brisk walk, plus the return trek. For guests of a 'certain age' this may be an issue, and a taxi into town may be preferable. The WC is separate from the bathroom, but is very small.

We paid EUR790 for one night in their room with a balcony. The view was nice, but the value for money is absolutely 0. The balcony was nice but not very clean and comfortable and not very well kept. The room smelled and there were hairs in the bathtub. The hotel team, except the concierge, was not friendly and didn’t give us the ‘welcome’ feeling you can expect at this level of hotel. For this price, breakfast was not even included. When we inquired about it, the reception team acted arrogant and like it was normal by responding that ‘the room was nice’. So in other words: don’t complaint. You even have to pay for the swimming pool (per hour).

Location on the lake was beautiful and only a short stroll into Annecy. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with large choice. Had a meal in the brasserie which was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site parking was a bonus as parking in Annecy can be difficult.

We were not informed when we booked that there would be a High Five festival starting on the fourth day of our stay in which the hotel was involved, this meant that what appeared to be hundreds of what appeared to be 18-30 year olds descending on the hotel and literally taking over the bar and outside area’s until the early hours and barring actual hotel paying guests from these premises during these hours. So having booked this very expensive hotel for its exclusiveness , having spent a very disturbed and uncomfortable night we were relieved to be leaving the next day. On mentioning our disappointment with the events of the previous evening to the receptionist as we checked out, we got a ‘ sorry about that, and it was going to be even worse that night as there was going to be a party! ‘ And don’t even think of asking the concierge for any help, the poor man was run off his feet , taking luggage up to rooms, parking cars, delivering cars, handing out car keys to guests etc. it wasn’t any wonder he was a bit vague when we asked for help! Oh, and don’t as for a taxi or a private one will turn up and charge you 25 euros for a five minute drive to the old town! And ‘ turn down ‘ consists of a bottle of water and a chocolate! That’s it. Otherwise it was ok!!
