The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We love the buffet breakfast, everything was great.

Dinner at one of the hotel's fine dine took over two hours to serve. I have to ask staff numerous times to find out they're short staff, but no one even bother to let us know. They wasted our time! Food is not even great for the price. Bed is soft but if you're in the middle of king size, the mattress will split, and then you'll end up sleeping with no mattress at all. So annoying and uncomfortable! Balcony is not clean Regret on coming to this hotel!! Never again. It was very expensive, and it didn't feel like a five-star hotel.

Very nice setting with great view. Very good buffet breakfast. Access to Corlette Beach from the hotel, great sunsets from the Marina and relaxed atmosphere.

Bed could have been a little bit comfier, because there was a slight bump in the middle but that was just because it was two single beds together

sofa bed very uncomfortable and needs an upgrade. took 2 days to work out there is an adults only pool! booked 3 adults but sofa bed not made up.

My family and I recently stayed at Anchorage Port Stephens hotel. I was shocked by the poor condition of customer service with dissatisfaction. Previously I heard from one of my friends & I had a positive impression of this hotel but it’s totally ruined now. Staying in room 403 but noise of shower/water/ loud conversation in the middle of the night from what seems like next door is dreadful...continual and unable to sleep. It was tough continuing my journey due to lack of enough sleep. Buffet breakfast is overpriced, the service was efficient but not attentive. Before we arrived at the hotel, I have already paid for room through booking.com, unfortunately Anchorage charged the same amount again from my credit card without permission after I checked in. I contacted the hotel and tell them what happened, it is annoying that I have not received any response so far. In short, service has completely ruined our vacation; in the near future I will not recommend anyone to stay here for once.

- every interaction with every staff member was friendly - we were well looked after - everything was nice and comfortable - food and drinks were high quality - pools well maintained - very accomodating (I requested a birthday message on a cake)

- the adult pool wasn’t heated - only source of light in the rooms were the windows or the lamps, which we understand might have been for ambience but would’ve been nice to have actual lights installed

The staff is not helpful when there is an issue. in general the staff are nice , however when there is a real test for customer service , ie , there is an issue in the hotel , the way they responded is just to avoid the issue or find an excuse instead solve the issues for the clients. The hotel manager also lacks of basic common sense to serve customer. I was told to wait to talk to the hotel manager At reception, however he served two customers behind me while already seeing me waiting to talk to him.
