Beautiful estate close to Gubbio but totally private with a fabulous villa and gardens. Our accommodation was in a separate building and the bedroom was large with all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was a continental style and ample. The owner and staff were friendly and looked after us well.

There was nothing to dislike.

The property is beautiful and very peaceful (but only a very short car ride from Gubbio, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, and beautiful sights to see). There was ample car parking space, and everyone working at Tenuta di Fassia was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The room that breakfast and dinner (the latter at extra charge) were served in was cozy and relaxed. During our stay in April we were greeted every morning by a roaring fire in the fireplace, which was lovely.

Noise travelled quite easily in the house our rooms were in, which is something light sleepers might need to be aware of. We had dinner at Tenuta di Fassia twice, and found that it was a bit hit and miss (the second meal we had was much better than the first, so perhaps the first one was not a good representation of their usual standard), though it is certainly convenient to have the option to have dinner there, and the setting was nice.
