I liked the pool area for the kids and close to shops and attractions.

The initial response when reporting a water leak from the room above us. The initial comment was not sure what I can do but I'll come and have a look. The water was pouring in at the time. Then they went and spoke to the cleaners beforehand to ask if there was a leak...slow responding to the issue.

Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed.

No toilet paper on arrival in the bathroom

I have stayed at the Sandcastles before and enjoyed it. The location to the beach and the local pub and the local club is within walking distance. The pool is lovely. The staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately, this time we arrived, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the unit. When we went to use the microwave, it had a broken turntable. I found the broken glass from the turntable by standing on it and cutting my heal. The plates and cutlery were not cleaned. The young lady on duty was mortified.

The cost of $769.50 for 3 nights.The 6 flights of stairs to reach our room.The AirCon not working properly along with the Microwave.Having to lift toilet lid to open and close door.Dirty toaster,stove hot plate not cleaned properly,Dirty glasses in cupboard.Broken hinge on top of front door.Complimentry milk in fridge was off.No soap holder in shower or clothes line where you could see where it had been.Dirty windows and ill fitting drapes.

Couldn't get past the lizard in my room....nice of manager to come out and fetch it out.
