The front desk staff was fabulous as were the housekeeping personnel. The hotel was nice would not say it was a 5 star facility.

The breakfast was great our dinner was just ok extremely small portions. The spa was too expensive $50 per person per day even just to use the workout room, most hotels that we have been to that have a 4 or 5 star rating have the spa open to guests at least the gym portion of the spa.

Overpriced. Was surely not a 5 star from any angle but they charge 5 star prices. Rooms were average. The Spa is only open from 14:00 to 20:00. Parking costs 25€ per day.

Swimming pool out of the main building

Service was really nice and helpful, and very well carried out : room clean, towels changed, I was just surprised that glasses were left not carried out, but not really a problem

We had such a lovely stay, the people over at the reception suggested amazing restaurants and were kind to show us how to reach Cinque Terre in the best way! They also gave us a free upgrade in a bigger room Special mention to the spa and the massages, Lada was amazing! The breakfast was great and Leonardo was super helpful and kind!

There was very little to like about this hotel. Whilst the location was ok, everything else was of a poor quality. Would not return to this hotel and would not recommend this hotel to people we know. Very disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, we were underwhelmed. The hotel was confusing with location and parking. When checking in, the staff were already dealing with complaints from other guests which was a big red flag for us. When we were taken to our room, it was immediately obvious that we had been overcharged by a considerable amount for what we were getting. Unfortunately the lift didn't go to the floor we were on so had to walk the remaining flight of stairs with our luggage. Within 5 minutes of being in our room, we could see that the room wasn't cleaned properly with stains on the sheets and hair on the floor. When we complained, we were moved to another room which was described as a suite but was equally as unclean. Often there were ants in our room to which we later found out there was an old lollipop under the sofa. The shower would leak when in use and the hallways smelt of chlorine. As we were leaving, we had to wait almost an hour for our car to be collected to then find that the concierge were stuffing our luggage into our boot without any care for the items inside despite us telling them repeatedly that we would pack the car ourselves. Incredibly poor experience from our side of things.

The location is good though it is a couple blocks away from the sea so you are located between buildings and no sea view whatsoever

A few hours after we checked in we started noticing ants in the room. I thought maybe two or three ants escaped it’s fine. But I woke up in the morning with bites and a rash on my body and my luggage (which was open on the counter) was full of ants and some spiders. It was absolutely horrific. I walked out to the lobby and told the manager who did not even apologize and had such a straight face, he said he will send someone to take care of it and clean everything. Although I did not want to continue staying in the room we were given no other option. We return back and slept in the room only to wake up to a worst view. Ants and spiders literally everywhere I burst into tears. I called the receptionist and started screaming and crying and demanded that the manager come to my room immediately (said there was an emergency so I can have them move). He came in and saw what we’re dealing with and said he will find us another room with and upgrade. We packed and our things were moved. In the new room (which was a nice suite) after my shower, I reach out to fetch one of the hanging towels only to be stunned that the towel is dirty with make up and mascara lines all over and red lipstick. I was so grossed out I felt I wanted to leave this hotel immediately but you know how reservations are in Portofino.

The lack of facilities in that you need to pay extra to use anything. Some rooms were detached from the main building/ reception. No way should this be considered 5 star. Extremely expensive for what it is.

Good location

AC was very weak (too hot) we can't sleep well, small sized room, parking was expensive, and no swimming pool.

Not a 5 * hotel

Being 100m from the main building , no real parking , no AC in the room even if you call the reception to fix it , no real swimming pool (you have to ask for the keys 30 mn before you go ) , the place is shared with people living in condominium . Not a true 5 stars Hotel , 2 maximum .

Great location. extremely friendly and accommodating staff.

They could not get the air conditioning to get our room cold enough. They provided a fan, it was just okay.

Room was okay, but not as clean as you'd expect when visiting a 5 star hotel. Staff were useless, breakfast was average at the best.
