O atendimento e cordialidade dos donos da pousada e da equipe é simplesmente impecável! A vista do café da manhã para as montanhas do outro lado do Canal Beagle é excepcional! Água quente disponível prontamente para tomar banho durante os dias frios. Ótimo custo-benefício!

Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant, la chambre très confortable avec la sensation d’être à la maison, et la vue sur la baie d’Ushuaia, spectaculaire !

La atención de los dueños es excepcional. Muy limpio y camas cómodas.

Ducha pequeña, la ubicación que si bien no es lejos del centro, hay que caminar por calles muy empinadas, dadas las caracteristicas de la ciudad. Por otro lado me resultó alto el precio para las instalaciones.

La atención super personalizada de Florencia y Gabriel, ambos super amables, lo mismo Maru en los desayunos. Excelente vista, rico desayuno, buena ubicación, cama muy cómoda y no pasé nada de frío.

Ambiente aconchegante, organizado, anfitriões receptivos e educados.

Lo que más nos gusto fue la atención de Gabriel y Flor. Las camas muy cómodas, las vistas de la habitación fue un sueño. Cafe y agua caliente para infusiones todo el día.

Por poner algo, el ambientador ( que es riquísimo ) por la noche puede ser un poco pesado para dormir.

O local e os funcionários fazem você se sentir em casa. Tudo é muito aconchegante. Gostei muito da localização também, a 4 quadras você já está na rua principal. Tive um problema com meu cartão de pagamento e a dona foi super atenciosa também, obrigado pela paciência.

Gostaria que a TV do quarto fosse smartTV pra conseguir assistir Netflix nela mas isso é um detalhe mínimo que não incomodou em nada durante minha estadia. Com certeza voltarei!!

The view was amazing, Gabriel and Florencia (the hosts) are amazing, they are very kind and always helping you with everything. The room was very comfortable and with cable tv, I definitely recommend this Hostería. Thanks!

Wonderful place, great view from the dining room; very homely atmosphere. all the rooms have separate entrances; the owners super friendly and very helpful with information about sightseeing, much better information than in the travel agency :) The breakfast is standard Argentinian food. 5 minutes walk to the main shopping street.

Really friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. lovely family run hostel, hosts were helpful with advising on what to do in the area, also helped with our washing. Great common room and spotlessly clean rooms. breakfast was great with excellent gluten free options

Florencia and Gabriel were extremely friendly and helpful. The cosy common room was open until 11.00, you could make some tea all the time. A five minutes walk to the main street with shops and restaurants. We really loved It!

The owners were very friendly and attentive to us. Even though the breakfast was simple, they were always asking if we needed more toasts or anything else. They helped us with all the questions we had, and they were very open to talking with the guests and asking them how their day was. I would definitely recommend it!

Incredible view, in a quiet area. The family that runs the hotel are super friendly and helpful. More than happy to answer questions and book taxis. Great english and Spanish speaking. I would recommend to anyone visiting Ushuaia.

Not able to use the oven to cook simple foods, i.e. Pizza. The room was very small for the 2 beds, with a lot of rooms sharing the one toilet. Our room was always very warm. It is quite a steep hill up to the hotel, would not recommend for those who have difficulty walking. Breakfast is very basic but it does the job. :)

I liked that the common area including bedrooms were clean and cozy, a real at home atmosphere. The furnishings were nice and the view of the water from our room and even the bathroom was nice. The cherry on top was the friendliness & helpfulness of the hosts! Very kind & knowledgeable couple. Would recommend 10/10. The place is very quiet and away from the busy city center which is nice since it’s just a few blocks away.

Quietness, location, Staff, Cleanliness, The View

After my Antarctica expedition where I was with many other people sharing my experiences I was suddenly on my own as a solo traveler and took me time to adjust. I had canceled a booking at the Antarctica hostel because of the fabulous reviews here & because I was not sure if I wanted to be with young backpackers. Hostería Aonikenk is basically a bed & breakfast accommodation which is more suited for couples or 2 people sharing. I wondered afterwards if I would have been better off having kept my original booking at Antarctica Hostel. There was lack of interaction with other guests & like staying in an hotel. The breakfast was very basic and not enough to start your day.

It's not a fancy place, be aware of that! It's also a short walk uphill from the city center. But you will find everything you need, a clean room, comfortable beds, a stunning view from the common/breakfast area and the most accommodating and friendly hosts you can wish for.

There is nothing I would complain about.

Very welcoming family with a lot of tips and recommandations, breath-taking view from the room and the shared area, equipped with a high-speed WIFI. Definitely worth spending some time here!

Like many places in Argentina, showers are not what they are here in Switzerland ;) but this one was still way above Argentinian average, and it was very clean.

Flor and Gabriel are wonderful hosts, providing support whenever needed and also allowing guests to come and go on their own schedules. The location was a 5 minute walk from the city center; I walked almost everywhere. The view from the breakfast room is extraordinary, and the breakfast and coffee were terrific. Upon arriving, Flor took the time to help me identify hikes and all of her advice was excellent. If I have a chance to return to Ushuaia, I will stay here again!

When I booked the room I understood the bathroom was a share with one other room, but it was with two other rooms. This was not a problem but the shower did not drain correctly, as you were taking a shower the water would be 2 inches or more in the shower.

The owners were so friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming, very helpful, the view from the room and kitchen, and if you wanted a hot drink on a night before bed then you could go to the kitchen to get one.

It is up a steep hill. It didn’t bother me, but it could be a factor for some.
