Breakfast quality, selection and presentation were outstanding. The host was very friendly and gave us great touring tips.
The only downside was we were on the second floor streetside and the house is right on a traffic circle/roundabout. So there was a bit of noise throughout the night. Could be an issue in the summer.

Location was fine as we had a car. May have been a bit far to walk as it rained all one day. Breakfast excellent - to accommodate all tastes. Room lovely - warm and confortable. Bathroom spotless - only drawback was lack of hooks to hang up towels (which we would have done and reused the following day if hooks were available). Plenty of toiletries etc. Dining room lovely, comfortable and spotless. Hosts were very friendly and willing to provide whatever we wanted.
Nothing - the only negative was the lack of hooks for handing towels in bathroom.

Bridget and Brendan were so welcoming and the B&B was wonderful.
The location was perfect as we were attending a wedding down the road. Anything we needed, they were there to help. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.

Lovely room with plenty of space, super bathroom, everything clean, nothing was too much trouble, super breakfast as well!

Very good breakfast, breakfast room quite small, had to share large table with other guests (which in fairness led to a great conversation!)
Prefer not to share breakfast table. Also cable missing to TV in room so no TV working (to be fair not sure the host was aware of this, could literally have happened the night before..)

Warm, spacious and comfy rooms, delicious homemade breakfast, will make you feel like you are not far away home :) Extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Private parking. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Castlebar.

The only room available to us was a Superior twin. If we had stayed in a double we would have rated our stay as outstanding. Our hosts were outstanding. They were welcoming, friendly and professional. The breakfast with fresh fruit, a selection of Irish cheeses and cooked breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a B and B. Our room was spotless. The bedding and towels were first class.
The decor in our room needed updating but plans are in place to decorate.

The hosts of the B&B were extremely helpful and kind, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely. If I ever need to stay in Castlebar again I will definitely be giving them a call. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤

The owners were lovely. They made me feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure I had everything especially gluten foods.. and the towels were amazing white and fluffy. Thank you.
I thought the shower could be upgraded.

Everything is good about this property, clean rooms and breakfast is lovely too, close to castlebar town just 6 odd kms away from Castlebar town centre
