The room was spacious and clean. Instructions on access to the Hostal very clear. Receptionist very helpful. Snack and water dispenser in reception.

I thought the property was closer to the Plaza España. The location was not the most appealing though public transport proved easy. Not a spot for walking around at night!

Clean, good location and very nice reception

It was clean, and is in a very quiet neighborhood overall. The check-in was simple and the check-out as well. Near to Mercat Nou metro station, there some nice restaurants around (Jacqueline's was a great surprise, you should have lunch there anytime!). Air conditioning works well, they took the trash off often. There’s a very useful vending machine in the coffee area which will save your life if you don’t want to go out to buy snacks or water. In general, a good stay, that’s all.

The shower had a somehow tight space, but totally manageable. It’s possible to find a better deal close to the touristic area if you book early enough, but this is absolutely a good choice.

The personel is nice, but does not speak English. The rooms are quite big and new. Airconditioning worked well and all was clean.

The internet is perhaps the worst I ever had in a hotel. I could not work. For checking in for my flight I had to go outside on the street. The desk computer at tge reception did not work. Only for a few hours per day someone of the personel is there. Entrance to the building only is possible when you have a chip or someone lets you in. So, you MUST tell them exactly when you will arrive, otherwise you don't get in. At the front you will hear everything of the traffic and in the house itself. The room to the back, which I unfortunately had just for one night, was quiet.

The hotel is very clean. Staff clean the room change the towels everyday. Location is okay, not far from bus stop and metro station.

This was a very frustrating and disappointing stay. We arrived more than an hour before the stated time that check-in ends for the evening. When we arrived, no one answered the buzzer outside the building. We called the property and were told that there was no longer anyone there. We were told they had tried to call us earlier in the day but no one had answered the phone. This is true: I had a missed call that I hadn't been able to answer because I was traveling, but no voicemail, email, or message via Booking was sent to let us know that they would be leaving the property early. We felt we were being scolded by the hotel manager despite this seeming like a pretty clear case where they had failed to communicate. We were eventually given a code to access the building and our room. We were sent a link to pay via email but were unable to do so because the link didn't work, so we agreed that we would pay the next morning at reception on our way out. We were further disappointed to find that our room was rather dirty -- stains on the bed covers, hair on the sheets, and the toilet didn't seem to have been properly cleaned. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, and it felt like there was no padding on top of the springs. (I've slept in hostels, summer camps, and on many friends' couches, and these mattresses were remarkably uncomfortable.) On top of all that, the WiFi wasn't working. We were told that was due to an outage on the street, so it very well may have been beyond the control of the hotel, but it certainly didn't help our experience. When we spoke to the manager the next morning about the cleanliness issues (didn't even bother revisiting the check-in issues or the terrible mattresses), we were just told repeatedly that things had indeed been cleaned. Given what the room cost, we expected a lot more. This place was definitely not worth what it's charging.

Walking distance to metro. Supermarkets next door , basic bar restaurants close by. Coffee machine and mircowave in common area. Good security building as rooms are the first floor of apartment block.

Only 1 coat hanger in room, I couldn't find any English stations on TV. No safety box on room.

Could not get aircon to work and reception was not present to assist.

The room was very clean, and big enough for a family . Bus station very close ( 3 min to the bus 46 that goes to the airport) . A lot of shops and supermarkets ij the area.

A little bit noisy, because is situated ok the boulevard.
