The location and the house was big.
First the hob was smelling gas when we was cooking. The house was clean but not in good standard. The decking was to slippery and not clean from the green stains. On the website said we will have barbecue and there wasn't any and when I ask them they told me is all wood and we can't provide barbecue. After leaving they complained because they told we burn the pan and 100 more things and I was fold on the decking because was to slippery.

A lot of the lights didn’t work , and the pool has a limit of 30 people in one session, pool needs to be bigger

Beautifully kept , spotlessly clean and well appointed house for 6 adults a 5 year old and a baby. Travel cot, child gate and high chair supplied in excellent condition, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Two lounges were a bonus and lots of lovely outdoor seating. Indoor pool and watersports were great and good base to travel around Cornwall. Parking for 3 cars was a bonus.

The whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Almost as soon as we had booked we had a lovely welcoming message from the owner telling us everything we needed.
The house itself is probably my fav ever holiday house experience. There was so much space to relax and having outdoor areas both front and back was a lovely touch.
The lounge upstairs is stunning and the beds were all really comfortable (v important in my families book!)
The resort was lovely and the aqua park, flo rider, gym and swimming pool were all used and really enjoyed! The location is fabulous too.
Thank you so much for a truly amazing family break, we will defintely be back.

Facilities on site were a bit hit and mis. Beach cafe only open once, restaurant didn’t serve food some days despite website to the contrary

It is a beautiful lodge in a great position ..we were a family of 7 ..Mum Dad 2 sons a daughter in law and two granddaughters..It was great for all of us ..the 2 lounges was a bonus as it meant all ages could watch tele or play games and the view was brilliant .
Water was off for a couple of hours when we got there and there was also a smell of drains in the downstairs bathroom all the time .but everything else was excellent

This is not about the property but the resort- Difficult to get hold of Retallack Spa Resort reception over the phone. An online booking system for the pool would be easier since it’s hard to get someone to answer the phone.

Everything was excellent. Some food on arrival was welcome. It was very clean and the property is big with a lot of space.
