We’ve stayed here about 4-5 times and the overall design and location of the hotel is lovely. The decor is nice and the rooftop terrace and bar is lovely in the warmer weather.

Over the years the service has really gone down hill. Between our first visit when the hotel was newly opened to now the experience is very different. We felt like we were an inconvenience from the time we arrived to the time we left. We arrived early and went to the bar where we weren’t greeted very warmly at all, there was an event of some sort happening, I think maybe a brunch but there was a very clear difference between the way the brunch guests were treated and they way we were. We asked for an ice bucket at the bar and were told we couldn’t have one and had to ring room service, we rang room service and were told we should have got one from the bar. We eventually did get some ice but were charged £5 room tray charge because the bar wouldn’t help. Overall it just felt like every time we asked for something it was an inconvenience and nobody really wanted to help which is a shame as we have always really loved our stays here and recommend it to everyone we know.

The view from the room was lovely but was expecting a little more from the actual room itself.

We booked a night at Novotel for our anniversary and instead of being catered for properly, we were slightly let down. The tv had no film channels available, no way to connect our phones to it and the staff then told us we had to pay an additional fee for a HDMI cable. This inconvenience should’ve been explained before booking. The majority of hotels offer complimentary gowns and slippers, however we were told we’d have to pay a total of £15 which we were unhappy about. The bathroom toiletries were poor, there was no toothpaste, no conditioner and two towels between us which we had to use for both the shower and swimming pool. Overall for the price we paid for one night, we were unsatisfied and I’d like to know what Novotel has to say for themselves.

Nice breakfast. Fantastic view on 38/F and 37/F.

No slippers, no toiletry, no conditioner, not enough towels, little option for hot beverages, no mini bar, little options for room service, pillows uncomfortable causing me neck pain.

The bed was comfy. The room was clean and spacious. The location was good. Breakfast was delicious and a very good selection. Great views of the city!

Katherina my darling.... When the customer asks for a combined bill, take out your calculator and add them together next time. Don't huff, puff and roll your eyes as if the customer is the trouble for you. Especially when it's £3k over. Re-training needed (or actually just training in general on how to be a warm welcoming host)!! Your attitude just stinks. If you want to do that, go and work in Karens Diner. It would be a perfect fit for you. Hope you read this and add it to your resume

Location and view are unrivaled. Cleanliness is consistent throughout and the rooftop bar is awesome.

I stayed at Novotel Canary Wharf in 2017 and was blown away by both the range and the freshness of fruit available at breakfast. This wasn't the case on my most recent visit. Also, I feel that having stayed for 2 nights, a breakfast tariff of £25 shouldn't have necessitated me paying further for porridge and an omelette.

Staff were lovely and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Rooms very clean. Loved the rooftop bar

Suite and view was beautiful, rituals shower stuff, comfortable bed.

Was a bit cold and couldn’t work the heating, one of the tv’s in the suite kept turning off and restarting. However 10/10 stay regardless, 100% returning.

When visiting the rooftop bar, the staff we're not welcoming and didn't seem like they wanted us there. It wasn't clear where we ordered our drinks and we just felt uncomfortable there f

The location is good and well in reach of public transporta whilst quiet.

Would have been great if the gym had heavier weights.

It’s was accessible and clean

I was very disappointed! I informed the concierge that it’s for a newly wed couple and for them to make the room presentable. When the entered it was a plain room which looked like no effort has been made. Concierge told me when I was paying for it that something nice was done but it was just a big disappointment!

I loved the food they served in breakfast

The window was too small there was barely enough lighting at times during the day, the TV did not connect to other devices or play YouTube videos

The hotel was lovely, beautiful decorated and very comfortable rooms. The veiw was perfect from our room. Great facilities and amazing value for money.

Only thing I would say if you want do go to the bar upstairs book a table. As it was raining when we went so we couldn't stand outside on the roof top bar.

I came and receptionist advised that there is no room available due to the festival that happened that weekend even though i have a confirmation. I was then advised that payment will not be charged. However they still took my money. I need a refund ASAP

Breakfast was great, as always in Novotel. Room size is very comfortable for 2 persons.

Would be better to have normal (concrete) walls between room and bathroom (soundproof).
