Comfortable bed even though was slightly small for two average size person. View was wonderful. Location was great - easy accessible to touristy areas and train station.

The location is good, can see the togetsukyo bridge from the room window. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The stuffs are really polite and passionate to help you.

The location and breakfast were beyond satisfying. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Arashiyama, and the river view from the window is stunning, with pleasant sounds of the water. During my stay, it rained quite a bit in the early morning, but the soundproofing was so good that I didn't even notice until I opened the window. The sound of the rain and the flowing river was quite loud and surprising when I did. I highly recommend including breakfast; it's better than many high-end restaurants, beautifully presented, and delicious. However, the pickles might be too salty for some; if you prefer less salty food, I'd suggest informing the front desk in advance. The room might feel small, but considering the price and typical room sizes in Japan, it’s not a major issue. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to assist with any inquiries, not just about the stay but also regarding local facilities and transportation. I felt genuine kindness from all the staff members, making it a wonderful experience.

If I had to point out a slight drawback, the 10 AM checkout time felt a bit early. It would have been more convenient if it were around 11 AM, allowing for a more leisurely departure. However, after checking out, I was able to leave my luggage with the staff and continue sightseeing in the area, which was great. The staff were very accommodating and made the process of storing my luggage hassle-free.

窓から川面が見えて雰囲気があった。 朝食が時間指定で混まずに落ち着いて食べることができた。

部屋は広くて清潔感があったが、物を置くスペースが狭かった。またコンセントの位置が低い位置にあり使いにくかった。設備は全体的に古いです。

事前に連絡をしたらチェックインよりも前に車を停めさせて貰えました。チェックイン時にルームキーと一緒に近くの温泉の割引券が貰えたのも良かったです。ロケーションも最高でした！

エレベーターが無かったこと。 クチコミで荷物をスタッフの方が持ってくれたとあったのですが 私たちは声掛けがなかったので少し残念です。
