For me this hotel was good value, it was quiet from my room, clean as i can remember and staff friendly, location was good for me to. Bonus was the kitchen room.

I had a single bed, so a larger bed would be better. My room location was a bit longer to get to.

Great location very near the railway station. Very little noise from outside, despite being on the main road. Very attentive and friendly staff.

No toiletries shelf in bathroom.

Excellent value for money in a central location, close to the train station. Walking distance to Taunton town centre, local parks, the river, cafes and shops. I can’t fault this hotel, the third year we’ve stayed here. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, always smiling, offering to carry heavy bags up the stairs, really lovely people. We were greeted with smiles everyday by the front of house staff and the cleaners. A happy working atmosphere.The room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable with crisp cotton sheets and comfy pillows. Lots of towels and a clean bathroom with a good shower. The fridge was useful for storing snacks etc and the tv was fine. We stayed in a family room overlooking the street with a double and single bed, and a comfy sofa.

Very hard to fault. The first and second floor have no lift so not suitable for disabled.

The hotel was cheap and cheerful and perfect for an overnight stay. It was within easy walking distance of central Taunton.

The lady that checked us in was lovely. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gave us some great local information. The room was nice, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Good size. Great location as we were going to a concert at the cricket ground but is so central with pubs and places to eat nearby and near the train station too. Great price, fantastic value for money. We will definitely be back.

Great experience from start to finish. Very friendly staff on reception speedy and professional. Clean and tidy room with tea and coffee , clean white towels and a very comfortable bed. Good choice of TV channels if needed.

Very small point was the slow wifi connection.

poor Wi-Fi signal and baby cot wasn’t fit for purpose and uncomfortable for my son, late night staff added extra duvet for comfort but didn’t really make a difference and son ended up sleeping in bed with myself and my partner

Location. Close to Taunton Railway Station and Somerset County Cricket Ground

Nothing we didn't like but as a warm night rooms were hot even with windows open. Not sure if fans are available?

Staff were lovely, flexible, helpful, smiley. The room was a good size and good price for the location.

The accommodation was basic. It was ok, I don't really have any complaints but it just could have been a lot nicer.I think the place is in process of being refurbished. It needs it. There probably needs to be a lift installed as well, the layout is quite janky
