Breakfast was very good and lots of effort was provided to meet our needs. Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, though no wardrobe space. Otago Peninsular is spectacular scenery Good advice re a restaurant for dinner Lots of helpful maps.

No access to tea and coffee making. It was hard to locate when we arrived. There's no wifi, internet access. This was a significant difficulty for us. No TV in room. (not a major issue)

There was no TV or Wifi - ridiculous in today's age, no electric blanket, no tea or coffee making facilities (not that there would have been space for them in the room anyway), no comfortable chairs to relax in - once again the small room had no space for them, no guest lounge, no room for other than one suitcase, no heated towel rail in the bathroom and nowhere in the bathroom to put one's toilet bag etc. These are all things that any good B & B would have. The B & B had great views - but not from the bedrooms or any area available to guests. The continental breakfast was quoted as 'superb' but was very average. In most good B & B's, the breakfast would have all been laid out on a table with the toaster and hot water jug etc there so that guests could just help themselves. At Restview, Linda felt the need to supervise all of this with the result that both Linda and Geoff stood there watching me eat - I was the only guest - making me feel as if I was a monkey in a zoo. I remonstrated with them and said that I was quite capable of looking after myself, but Linda would have none of it - she wanted to control things. I will not be returning to Restview ever again - there was certainly nothing restful about this B & B.

Beautifully presented room. Very clean and tidy. Lovely ensuite adjoining. Fantastic view to the coast, Port Chalmers. We were able to access our room after our dinner out through a side entrance, which they gave us a key for. Thank you. This accomodation is in a gated property. We were served with tea and coffee in the morning, nice start to the day.

This B&B had very attentive and kind hosts. Despite the continental breakfast not being available, we were offered complimentary hot drinks in the morning and evening which was great. We felt very welcomed. Thank you!

The location is convenient to Larnach Castle and the Peninsula. It is also very close to the city by car. Our host provided us with a cup of tea & treats for supper at 8.00pm.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional from our bed to bathroom facilities, breakfast the view. Geoff & Linda Oliver are such lovely people our stay felt very homely and they were very helpful with tourist attractions and recommendations for dinner reservations we enjoyed our stay and will very much return on our next visit😊. Highly recommend to others AAA++

Lynn and Geoff were wonderful hosts. The room was clean, more than comfortable and quiet. Lynn and Geoff went the extra mile, sourcing local organic products for breakfast, and making sure we were happy. Their local knowledge of Dunedin was very helpful to us, and their 'travel tips' were very practical and helpful. We have no hesitation recommending Lynn and Geoffs' property (Restview) to others looking at travelling to Dunedin. We would definitely stay with them again.

Linda and Geoff are lovely hosts who go out of their way to make a stay at Restview really enjoyable. Well appointed accomodation and spotlessly clean. Friendly and hospitable. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to stay. Beautiful views of Dunedin harbour from the living rooms and deck.

Was a lovely property

Very comfortable and warm room. The bathroom facilities were very clean and tidy. Views of the harbour were fantastic. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast in the morning and the friendly hospitality from the Management.

Would enjoy the room a lot better if it had a wall mounted TV just to kick back and watch the News or a Movie at the end of the day/night.

The location was great with fabulous views. Our room was well sized, with with modern amenities, giving absolute comfort. The hosts couldn't have been better, providing a great breakfast, hot drinks in the room, and recommendations for dining out. We would have no hesitation in staying there in the future or recommending it to friends.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we were only passing through and we couldn't stay longer.
