Very clean and ideally located in Kihei. There are several public Pickleball courts right next door if you're a fan!

Stay was good. We were disappointed when arrived that there was not a volleyball net as were in all the photos. This was our deciding factor in choosing to stay here vs another potential spot. Also we were given instructions upon our arrival to visit the office but it was closed. Stopped by the next day and it was closed. Place was clean and the location was great.

Overall this rental was very good for a family getaway. Fair price for location. Check in was very smooth and easy… the rental company that works with the owner is amazing! A few early issues were quickly resolved and they were very friendly! The place itself was nice…AMAZING view, quiet, and good location. Pictures were a little deceiving (rooms are very tight with furniture that is way too big for the space… dining table and master bedroom specifically). Starter toiletry pack was VERY basic and unfortunately no toilet paper which was a problem after traveling over 12 hours to get there. Beds were comfortable but showers were a little tight. It was nice to have laundry machines available (you have to load $10 at a time though so do lots of laundry to get your moneys worth 😉). The beach in front of the unit is fine for walking but not very wide and fairly rough for swimming which wasn’t that much of an issue for us since we traveled to different beaches each day. I would recommend this rental for a visit to Maui.

We arrived in the evening. When day light broke, we were amazed by the location and view. The beech is quiet and stunning at the same time.

This property was fantastic for my two children (6 & 8), mother and husband and myself! The beds were very comfortable, pullout couch was great for my kids and was spacious enough around it to leave out throughout the duration of our stay! They probably are due for a new couch, but again, worked for us and the kids! The view was amazing with gorgeous sunsets. The property manager (Caroll) was fantastic and tended to a couple things we needed in the beginning asap and communication with her was so easy! Their was plenty of space for us to organize our clothes for the 10 days we stayed and loved the bathroom counter space.
Laundry was not in unit, but super easy to use with the app system available for use!
The pool was chilly, but did not bother our kids one bit and we always were able to get a chair. It could use some updates, but was always crystal clear clean!
This is our 4th time in Hawaii and first in VRBO. The location was fantastic for us and were able to get to all sides of the Island very easily. The ABC store down the street was great for quickly running to grab a few things and was a short walk/drive into Kihei.
The beach was great, but for swimming a little bit rocky with coral, but for a sandier beach, it’s a quick drive up to Wailea beaches and the hotels are very welcoming to Valet your car, so you can enjoy the beach.
We would definitely consider staying here again! You would not be disappointed with this unit. Highly recommend!

My husband and I come to Maui twice a year to visit our grandkids. We truly enjoyed staying at this unit. Beautiful ocean front view. Could use a washer/dryer but overall it was a great place, clean and renovated. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 weeks on 4 Hawaiian Islands, all booked via vrbo, so we have a comparison. This place was the most expensive and should have been the best, but there are some issues which lead to subtract a star.
Good:
top location, unobstructed view across lawn, dunes and sea, beautiful in the morning sun, no street noise, interesting building design, Kihei located centrally on Maui for all kinds of excursions, layout of apartment is good per se for a family with 2 grown children.
Neutral:
apartment is in a larger condominium with all pros and cons that the size brings with it; hardly any useable closet space; somewhat mindless array of kitchen utensils (3 bottle openers but no scissors?); small balconies
Issues:
Cleaning - dirt all over the place, upon arrival we spent 1 hour cleaning the floors; management stated that the way the apartments are built, it cannot be avoided that sand from the beach blows through the closed windows and doors. We can relate to the wind issue. But that hardly explains remains of potato chips throughout the living room, bread crumbs all over the kitchen counter, used toothpicks on the sofa, the assortment of general debris under the beds. This is not wind, but superficial cleaning and a quick swipe of the hard floors, to distribute the sand and grime instead of removing it.
Maintenance - this place could use some. Seals of shower door are desolate, wear & tear on all walls and furniture, broken bedroom door.
Responsiveness of management.

Our family with 2 teenagers loved the awesome condo showcasing the Brillant sunset each evening. The location (privacy of beach) was nice. We loved the entire island of Maui. We recommend all including Kihei and visiting the nearby communities. Surfing with instructors is a must for the young at heart (...And getting professional photos to prove the success!) Until next time...

Nice layout with amazing view. Pool area and BBQ area great. I stayed here with four other ladies. When we arrived the floors made our socks dirty within a few minutes. We found out later that a fine ash dust gets on the floors within 24 hours of cleaning. Got some wet swifter wipes for that problem. We had to spend a lot of time getting the tvs and air conditioner to work. The sofa bed was broken and the lock had to be replaced. These issues were dealt with quickly. Condo needs to be cleaned more thoroughly between guests under beds, etc. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, pans, utensils, etc. The view and beachfront were incredible, but no places to go for happy hour, dinner, music that we could walk to.

I absolutely loved being able to have the windows to our two patios open to get the ocean breeze at night. The view was beautiful no matter the time of day. There was a lot of activity around the property during the day but once 10 pm hit, I didn't hear anything but the waves while sleeping with the windows open.
I did have some complaints about the check-in process however. We arrived exactly at 4 pm (check-in time) and our room was not finished. We waited until 4:30 for the cleaning staff (who were very nice) to leave. We were hoping to utilize the washer/dryer (not in the room) right away as we had been traveling a few days already but because we checked in on a Saturday, the office in which we were to get the code was closed until Monday at 9 am. (Of course, we had plans all day Monday and wouldn't be around to go to the office.) I emailed the address left for us to get the code and nobody ever responded. We also didn't have the code for the pool but were lucky enough to find another pool-goer to let us in. I definitely suggest this property emails visitors the codes for the pool and washer/dryer or prints them out and leaves them in the property. It's a pain having to track down someone in an office with such limited hours. The laundry/pool were definitely something we wanted to enjoy. We stayed at another property in Kauai during this same trip and they had the code thing down pat by emailing the codes a few days ahead of the trip. It was much more convenient.

Stayed at this condo with my husband, son and his fiancé. Loved the location. Condo was nice and clean. We would stay here again. The only two things I would suggest to the owner is to upgrade 2 of the older beach chairs, and provide a cooler for your guests. Not complaining at all. Just suggesting.

Love this place. The beach is not great here but it’s in the middle of everything so it makes it easy to get to all the good beaches. The power did go out for a couple hours one night which was unfortunate. We tried to contact someone about it but couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Nice view of the pool but the one time we took the kids (older kids) to the pool the older group that was there was not happy we were there and made it very uncomfortable. Other then that it was great.

Overall I would rate it a 3 star . Lovely view of water and super sunsets. But really needs some work…painting and thorough cleaning. Loose taps and towel racks in the bathroom… time to do some fixing. Lanai furniture was crumbling… really worn!

The unit was nice with a fantastic location. Instructions for check in were provided. There is noone on site to check in with but I did not know that. It was a little confusing. The screen door was broken when we arrived and they said they would be by Wed to fix it but noone ever showed up. It didn't really affect our stay. We did have a problem with gnats in the kids room but there was spray in the closet so this must be an issue after a heavy rain because the one window leaks and then after that there was gnats. We sprayed and they were gone . Otherwise the unit was very clean , great location and so many items were provided for us to use. Beautiful property.

The view is incredible with short walk to the beach! The pool was great! My daughter accidentally locked the bathroom door and the owner was receptive to getting that opened. Overall very pleased!!

Beautiful location and nice complex, but the unit and property management were disappointing. Agree w/the reviews below about the items that need to be fixed (they were still broken) and the mildew in the showers. The beds and kitchen were lovely, but the living room and patio furniture were worn. In addition, the couch had a strong mildew smell that made it rough to sit on. The pool, hot tub and bbqs were very nice.
In addition, the condo was not available at check-in time (the cleaners were there for almost an additional hour) and the key pad was out of batteries, so we could not get in/out. When we called the property manager, he seemed bothered by the call.
Would be a lovely place if some of the items above were fixed.

The views from the condo were amazing! The condo was just as described, we loved being right on the beach. It was great to be able to walk down to the beach and watch the sunset or watch it from the lanai. I booked this property for the views and it delivered.

Let me preface this review by saying that I've been in the travel industry for over 30 years, so may be a bit more critical in evaluating resort properties (it was my job) than the average visitor. This unit has a beautiful view! Nice to have 2 bdrms with water view. Lovely property. These recommendations for the owner did not prevent us from having a wonderful time, but should be addressed: replace patio furniture!! / repair broken drapery cord in 2nd bdrm / repair broken seal around master shower / add dresser or luggage rack in master / repair loose shower head pipe in 2nd bath / fan and light switches in 2nd bdrm are reversed / with office closed most of our stay, had to get pool code from neighbor and was not advised laundry room was no longer locked so waited for that code too / no response from email or phone messages to management! / no coins avail onsite for laundry room but used online prepay app that worked but was confusing to use. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

The property is central to shops, restaurants, and food trucks. Unit was clean and the views from the back balcony was well worth the money spent. Check in process was easy. The condo was updated and comfortable. Our favorite thing about it was that there were 2 balconies that faced the water and the property was pretty quiet most of the time. It was very relaxing. The biggest issue we had with our stay was that there wasn’t water and dryer in the unit as listed (unless it was behind the locked door near the master bedroom)

Unit was well-appointed, clean and delivered 100% on those sunset views from the main room and both bedrooms, which is really rare. I would give 4.5 stars overall if I could though, because there's a fair bit of morning noise from neighboring units and birds outside, and the location is north of optimal (leading to extra time in traffic).

We rented this Kihei Apartment for two nights when a friend was getting married on island. The apartment is very accurate to description. Tastefully remodeled and suited our needs.
Our only negative aspect of the unit (Very nitpicky) is that the "Office" where you check in is only open 3 days a week. It closed at 4:00pm and our check-in was at 4:00pm. We arrived at 4:05PM and the office was closed. We never received the code for the pool or laundry room. If you were renting for an extend period this might require more work to get this information. Parking was a little confusing, All the spaces say reserved, but a note on the door of the office and our checkin email says there are no reserved parking spaces. Reviewing the handbook/Rules of the property it mentioned that if we parked in someones spot our car could be towed. I think some updating of the written material in the unit would elevate any confusion.

Simply loved having my coffee every morning with the amazing view from the two balconies. We had a couple of minor snafus initially but the short of it is, I'd rent it again if I go back to Maui with friends or family. I also appreciate the quick attention from the host, Dan, for the couple of small issues we had. It's easy to say you got great service when you didn't really need any, its another to be able to say it when you did need it, as we did. Dan was super quick with his replies and attention and my family had an amazing time. Loved Maui, and loved this room for a cost effective family of 4 with a view. Mahalo.

This is the first negative review we have posted. As renters we have an excellent rating on VRBO with multiple rentals. This condo has an excellent view that can't be beat and was great to rent except for the following.
The day before we arrived we were informed that the pool would be closed for scheduled maintenance for 7 out of the 11 days we would be there. Given we check in after 4 and out by 11 we only had use of the pool for two full days. We understand that unexpected events happen but this was scheduled maintenance which the owners knew about for weeks. We tried to negotiate with the property manager Dan for some compensation or use of another pool since he manages multiple properties and the condo was not "as described in the listing". He stonewalled us, saying he was waiting for the owner to reply until after we left. His final response was "Notice was provided via email as a result the request has been denied. It seems like you are offering to provide a good review if we provide the 25% refund". This seems to be fishing for a good review if they provide compensation. This lack of notice and response from the property manager is unacceptable.
Unfortunately, we did not contact VRBO when we received the notice of the pool closure (we we're trying to follow their suggestion to work it out with the property manager) but had we, VRBO would have tried to help us either negotiate for some compensation or a move to another condo.
