Gorgeous double room with balcony especially for solo travellers. Spotlessly clean, beautifully managed, perfectly located.

It’s a slim shower cubicle which might not suit everyone.

The location in the Old Town was excellent!

Pensión Alameda is strategically located. There is a bus and taxi stop right across the street. you can purchase good coffee in a pastelería downstairs. To get to the Zona Antigua, you just need to walk 1 block. One block away is also the The owner was kind and helpful. The price is worrh it.

This place is less than a minute's walk away from the marathon start, eliminating any pre-race logistics stress. Just walk out 20-30mins (after having used your own toilet!) before your race for a warm-up, then go line up. Bathroom was a good size (more room to walk around in there than the bedroom).

No coffee available early morning, which was a bit annoying. Was in a small room with only one window for the room, looking into the internal atrium/lightwell which wasn't attractive...no space to walk around even though there was only a single bed in there.

Parking is extra some 22€ per day, no breakfast included, so this place is a bit more expensive than it looks.

The location of the pension is perfect, just inside the old town, within a minutes walk of all the restaurants and bars. Our room had a lovely view over a square with a glimpse of the bay. Several terrasse cafes by the hotel front door where we had coffee and croissants for breakfast. Traditional building with modern lift installed within a charming old lift cage. Our hostess was welcoming and informative on a number of matters, such as recommending a restaurant that would be open mid-afternoon, and how to get a cheaper rate on our car-park.

No reservations at all about Pension Alameda. We had a largish room with a view of the sea so cannot express an opinion on the other smaller rooms with no view. But of course one does not go to San Sebastian to stay in one's hotel room!

Excellent room for the price, located steps from all the great food and very close to the path along the beach. Very quiet with soundproof and lightproof windows!
