wir sind 3-4 mal im Jahr dort die Zimmer sind renoviertes essen ist gut und das Frühstück einfach gut

Great location, in the middle of a forest, nice spa although only three out of its five features were working when I paid it a visit on Friday around 8.30pm.
I was given a room with a blackout blind that didn't work, and the hotel was already aware of this problem (the receptionist told me, when I complained, that they had already received complaints about this, yet it had not been fixed) when I arrived.
So the hotel knowingly gave me a sub-standard room, clearly hoping that I would settle for it. When I complained, they offered me a bottle of 'champagne', which turned out to be a bottle of the rather cheaper sekt. I grudgingly accepted this, thinking that as the hotel was probably fully booked they wouldn't be able to give me another room.
In the morning, I asked the receptionist to have the curtain fixed. When I returned in the evening it hadn't been fixed and the receptionist informed me that the hotel was fully booked so they couldn't provide me with another room. I therefore asked the receptionist for a 20% refund of the value of my reservation since it wasn't fair to charge me the full rate for a sub-standard room. The receptionist said he would speak to his boss about my request. Within five minutes he called me in my mal-appointed room and informed me that there was another room available after all. So I moved to my new room.
It shouldn't have taken the hotel so long to address my complaint, yet the threat of a 20% loss to their scam (of providing me with a malfunctioning room for the full room rate) clearly pushed them to find an alternative room. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this hotel.

restaurant was a little overpriced but the bar was very nice.

The property has spacious rooms and the staff at the restaurant was very welcoming. Wellness facilities are also nice.
We stayed on a Saturday and the guests at the restaurant were extremely loud (playing music, shouting) until 1am. this was extremely unpleasant as we chose this place for its quiet, secluded location. After complaining to the receptionist, we were dismissed. Quite unprofessional

Walls were extremely thin and the couple next door kept us awake all night … when complaining to staff during the night and next morning they said that they were ‘only talking’ … even worse…If you can’t have a conversation without the room next door able to hear every single word, it’s something wrong with the walls. It was overpriced for what it was and I’ll never recommend or stay here ever again.

I have been to this facility several times before and was very satisfied.
Despite the fortuitous situation and the cancellation of the reservation, Hotel did not agree to a free cancellation and charged the company the full amount.

Amazing room - huge and clean, peaceful location, great food and friendly professional staff, I couldn't ask for more, only wish I could stay longer. the Covid restrictions in place, were comforting and enforced.

Quiet outside, the birds were singing at the window, trees everywhere, fresh air when you opened the window. The breakfast was good. The staff was nice.
The bed was a little bit uncomfortable for me and you could hear when someone was passing by in the lobby, the same sound from the neighbors. Unfortunately no shampoo. The price of the room was a little bit high.

Great food, nice and professional staff.
Good wellness area, nice design, and because of covid we were in there alone, which was great.
It was a non-smoking room but through the door to the hallway or through the window, I smelled smoke half the night. It was awful. I told the staff that at checkout. He couldn't explain it. Either people were smoking in non-smoking rooms nearby mine or it was coming up from the main level area (where smoking is allowed) or from guests staying below me who were smoking outside.

The location is really lovely. The hotel however is quite more like a 4-star hotel then the advertised 5-stars. However, the prices are also way below your average 5-star hotel which makes the place still great value for money!
The tv could do with some more English language channels.
